    was the same against Coventry.

we seem to have a focus on defence or attack and nothing in between

I bet Matete and Winvhesters agents are racking up the phone bill. I dont really understand the Diamond thing either. I couldnt see a situation where he would get on ahead of Roberts, or instead of pushing Clarke further forward. Surely we could have Winchester in those last 15 today.

Have they stopped the rule of straight red if raising your hands, that tackle by Gooch had nothing to do with chair incident and ran over to Gooch. Straight red for me

Absolutely devastated with that ending. We were in control for large parts of the game, but we started to tire and changes weren't made early enough.

I don't have an issue with Simms coming off, with Sheff Utd away on Wednesday but we needed to make more changes sooner than we did.

QPR beat Boro last week and only lost to Blackburn by 1 on the opening day. They're not a bad team at this level and for large parts of the game, we made them look poor. We'll learn from this and keep improving, it's not a time to panic.

shocking from the ref is all i am going to say, before any of their goals, indeed any dangerous attacks even i thought the ref was showing them a lot of favour and so it turned out...the push on gooch was a violent reaction and a yellow card (no punishment) then chair grabbing gooch around the throat -raised hands/dangerous unsportsman like play- (no punishment).

now to us, why did we allow them to play in the second half...roberts came on and finally we saw some urgency but the problem was he just wanted to get a goal when he could have easily played stewart in at least once if not twice, when he did eventually try to it was a crap pass, not happy we did not keep the pressure on as there was no need to run ourselves ragged, just keep playing as we had been.

don't think it was just my eyes but dan neil and evans seemed to be a lot more involved this game, onien did a good job after coming on and clarke at one point was running rings round them but with no real end product.

honestly i just cannot fathom how we lost two points nor the way we did it and can only put it down to us thinking we had it won and the ref not being as strict as he should have been.

ps: i have said it many times, do not sing 'we are on our way' until the final whistle!!

yes this was my problem earlier. It appears to me that very little thought goes into our subs and how we use them. The make up of the bench today makes no sense

I may of course be very wrong. Neil has enough credit in the bank to shut me up

a good holding midfielder an attacking mid and a mobile battle tank of a defender would be my high up on the list minimum

The ref seemed to look away just before it happened and I don't think he can punish what he hasn't seen. I'm not convinced it was a red card anyway, just handbags.

Every set of fans in the country feels like the refs favoured the opposition every single week. I think we need to accept that they do a difficult job without any malice involved and though they get the odd decision wrong, it doesn't often change the whole result.

this is why I’m more disappointed tbh.

maybe I’m a pessimist but it feels like we are on a good streak and we need to be maximising points.

I also don’t want us to get promoted this season, so if throwing a few points away gives other a chance then so be it :D

I think it is a bit of a worrying trend with AN and subs. Not proactive enough so far this season. In reality we could have 9 points. I can only assume there are players he simply doesnt trust in the squad, but on a day as hot as today you really need to be quicker to get lads on.

I still have faith, and like you say he has credit in the bank, but today I think losing 2 points is largely on him.

Neil said in midweek that a midfielder isn’t currently a priority as we have O’Nien Winchester and Matete. Yet O’Nien he used as a defender and Winchester and Matete didn’t make the bench.

so it clearly is a priority.

    I’m hoping he’s just misdirecting
