Not taking anything away from Aldo & I have no reason to believe he's making it up he doesn't strike me as a liar .

It appears as if he was taken in by the latest thing and wanted to extend help to those poor Ukrainian people in a war zone .

Unfortunately the government set up this scheme to look virtuous on the World stage , but when reality sinks in the people who volunteered are left holding the can .

It would have been much more sensible to throw some of those billions that Zelenskyy laundered at Romania Poland or other EUROPEAN countries to feed and house these people .

 

Unfortunately it's us mugs who ultimately pay for the shambles.

 

It was the Tory scum backbencher rebels that got the Covid-19 passports and mandates scrapped .

SNP Lib dems and Labour were all for it forever

 

I'm not pissed off tax payers aren't funding anything. I'm a tax payer. I'm pissed off at the shambolic and totally inadequate structures that have been put in place to deal with these people. You're 100% correct about the Scottish government's virtue signalling regarding the Ukraine but then again I'm not at all surprised. I expected as much. Too bad others don't listen to the likes of me and you Si.

 

Does that have any baring on the billions of tax payers money pished away on T&T and ppe contracts for Tory pals?

 

Everyone in government was demanding more masks hand gel ppe lockdowns covid passports etc .

If politicians fraudulently stole tax payers money procuring this junk then they should be prosecuted .

 

I would like to see the receipts for the billions sent to Ukraine to see how our money was used over there .

I'm guessing straight into arms manufacturers coffers and the rest funnelled into Swiss Bank accounts of the swamp dwellers in Ukraine .
