not only that, but it's a prada suite that can smoke cigars. i expect it's a health thing, when you can get your cigars smoked by a suite and not have to inhale all the noxiousness yourself, assuming cigars contain noxiousness. it might also be that a suite is less fussy about whether the cigar was rolled on the thigh of a comely native girl. as a never smoker, i have to admit that i find cigar and pipe smoke less horrid than cigarette smoke, and even kind of evocative of days gone by, especially at the seaside. perhaps it's the rarity, i'm happy about the increasing rarity of cig smoke, but the associated decline in pubs (someone else might know how closely close the two were) is a disappointment, even as a not-really-regular pubswise.
Going off on a complete tangent, as much as I detest the smell of cigarette smoke, I still find it slightly preferable to the sickly sweet smell those vape things produce.
I quit smoking and use vape as an alternative and I’m slowly coming off that. After about 3 weeks my chest cleared and I can now run about for 90 minutes and contribute to football matches. Best decision I ever made.
A week after my heart attack I came out of Castlehill and found I no longer smoked, no urges, no coughing, nowt. That was four years ago. I'm still ****ed though
I quit smoking at the same time as quitting sugar/junk food. I was rattling so much for chocolate, cigs never even came into my head.
I quit shortly before I had children. Anyone who smokes in the same house as a child needs a good kicking. Just saying. I did spend a few months bumming cigs off my mates after I'd had a sniff of beer, mind.
