When squads are making decisions on managers you end up like chelsea did at the end of Terry and that. They should have won more given the money situation. They basically downed tools in comps and all that.

It's poison and all the more reason for the entire senior panel to be summarily dismissed vi's transfers asap.

It should be made crystal clear what's expected to each new player.

First out the door i say again, de gea.
    Second ronaldo.
    Third maguire.

I love that I keep seeing Man Utd fans saying sell X Y & Z (rightly so) but then they insist on keeping C.Ronaldo to build a side around him.... he's 37yrs old ffs! He's also currently part of the problem <laugh>

If they setup defensively and looked to counter, Maguire could be very good like he was at Leicester.

Man Utd have persisted with the high line (no pace) possession (he can't pass) football and he just can't do it.

It is unusual to play Manchester United this early in the season, I am excited.

    early indications are:

    Alisson
    Trent Gomez VVD Robertson
    Henderson Fabinho Keita
    Salah Firmino Diaz

Adrian, Phillips, Tsimikas, Van den berg, bajcetic, milner, clark, elliott, carvalho.

Word is Jota will be targetting Everton not this game.

CHRIS SUTTON HAS GONE FOR A BIG WIN. 0: 5

    Manchester United v Liverpool (20:00)
If Manchester United win this game, they leapfrog Liverpool in the table, but that is not going to happen.

United aren't able to press teams with the players they have got, and I don't really know what Erik ten Hag can change with what he has got in his squad.

Liverpool have started slowly too, and Darwin Nunez's suspension won't help on top of their injuries. That leaves them a bit short up front, although Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz looked lively against Palace.

Whatever happens, you just know Jurgen Klopp's side will outwork United at the very least.

Maybe United's players will run around a little bit more this week than they did against Brentford, but they need to find some heart. Unless something happens this week that triggers a change in attitude in the squad, I don't see it happening.

The home crowd will be willing them to take the game to Liverpool, and if they do that then they are in big trouble because that's when Klopp's side are at their best.

They won 5-0 at Old Trafford last season and it is going to be a similar story this time, although I am going to give United a goal just to lift their spirits a little.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-5

    GK's prediction: 0-0

sutton clearly hasn't watched us yet.

if we get 5 shots on target it'll be an improvement. 20 chances, 5 maybe on target.

Man utd should be under all the pressure., klopp has a way of deflecting off any pressure than 2 draws might be inflicting on his misfiring midfield and attack..... but its more likley utd get the bounce than we do.

My ideal is the man utd fans turn on the players but i fear there will be a glazier out pitch invasion and thier stewards will do nothing to stop it.
