It's reality check. How nz were that out of form they couldn't cope with England slashing away I don't know. This lot have had good conditions but are a quality outfit and have eaten England alive.
Bairtow and Lees got balls they had to play that were at stump and the moved away. Foakes though.. absolutely joke of a shot. Broad was ridiculous. Total luck at times swinging away. Got done by a slower ball just to get his big swing off time and up in sky. Potts was the same. Just bowl at stumps and the random swinging bat misses. Zero defence intent. Stokes. Just down the throat of man in deep. A bit unfortunate I support. Didn't catch all of it. There was no attempt really here to stay in at all. Just swing away and a 3 day innings defeat. Nortje has one odd run up... prances down like he's going to high jump. I'm going to guess this'll be a whitewash unless weather intercedes.
I presume sa will be very disappointed given they chose to bat. There a couple great deliveries and a couple absolute lucky wickets in there
Been good bowling performance. Robinson figures look meh but he was really unlucky not to take a couple of edges. Got the ball moving off the seam. hopefully can skittle them out quick before sun comes out and makes it easier to bat
suns out. Balls gone dead. Nothing happening. Shame cos if we can get these 2 out then last couple hours will be perfect for our openings to get themselves set.
I dunno about getting set. Each session when you go in you've got to start again. The main issue our lot have is getting into any session as half of them either throw the wicket away or forget the conditions will change after a break. If it's calmed down a bit the do something else to get hackers out. Make them swing at it. Bowl at stumps
I presume Crawley smashed his bat at something and nicked on as I'm watching cl draw. It's usually Crawley being useless but you'll tell us.
