2 for me today not really had much time to look . Ripon 308 garden oasis 5s goes well at c/d has taken a class 2 here at c/d and looks weighted nicely. 526 masque of anarchy 6/4 should be taking this easily . Good luck all who play
Chepstow 256 I put this one up at 16s on the 18th and it obliged today it goes off at 8s and really should be winning again . It owes me nothing but that is not the reason i am putting it back up . They was upped in trip at track 4 days ago under softer conditions and run extremely well placing . Back down in trip today in what looks like a peach of a race to drop them in and although on a higher mark they look like they should take all the beating . Finley Marsh will no doubt be looking forward to getting in the plate on clashaniska.
In the 14:50 at Cartmel, the Getaway mare, Dicey Rielly, is worth a very modest wager on her Chasing debut. Hoping she will take to the big obstacles favourably. James Bowen on board for his dad's stable. 4/1 generally the best price at time of writing for a small win plunge!
Dr Sanderson goes for a hattrick of wins in the (15:59) at Cartmel. Is already a C&D winner, plus wins at shorter distances. Seems to like this peculiar track. Good chance for a 3-timer. SP will be reasonable, I'm sure.
Well, sure it is tough a lot of the time with horseracing, but it is always best to be straightforward and honest with one's assessment of a race. I am sure I get it wrong at times, but a reasonable opinion of a race is what matters for me. Cannot stand bad losers or, in particular, 'jockey blamers'. On the latter, I bet some of them don't even know how to sit on a sofa properly! Would never in a thousand years say I could ride a horse, but I did do a bit of trail-riding' in Alberta, Canada, in my younger days. I am sure I was pathetic, and remember clearly how relieved I was to get back to the stables again! To try and imitate John Wayne is near impossible, I can tell you!
Its always good to assess the race best way of gaining more knowledge , as for bad losers they make me laugh (and i know i should not). If you cant afford it dont do it , there is nothing wrong with a flutter if it is done within means . I rarely visit a bookies these days but some of the things i have seen smashed is distressing , which gives the majority of punters a bad name . They do say though MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL .
Well said! So, we'll just press-on. Good luck this week. Maybe, and that's a big maybe, I'll give it a breather for a few days, am badly out-of-touch and doing all the wrong things at the moment! Sighs of relief all round?
