    Morning all:emoticon-0148-yes:
Contrary to many in here I’m ferly happy with this transfer window. We needed more bodies in, we got it. We needed some midfielder in, we got it. We needed an experienced goalkeeper, we got it. But to make it perfect I would have liked to have a striker, a LB, a DM, kept James and got Forshaw out. Unfortunately, we don’t live in a perfect world and not everything is up to us.

    Will give it a 7/10

firstly, there is still the january transfer window

secondly, i've instructed my lawyers, as the clear implication was that the bet was subject to the player joining, and the lack of terms and conditions gives me ample wiggle room

thirdly how does Jammy know that i'm pretty

re the transfer window... i think we're all frustrated at how it ended. If we look at it with the emotion removed and as a whole window, the work we did early makes it an ok one. But it reeks of missed opportunity to be a really good one.

What happened to us yesterday could have happened to anyone... and sometimes the players you're after only become available very late in the window while clubs sit on their players and wait for the best concrete offers to come in. I'm sure that was the case with Gakpo. However, the noises coming out of Elland Road over the last few weeks really sounded like they couldn't make their minds up on the profile of who they wanted, never mind the actual player.

It reeks of desperation that it takes an injury to your back up striker to hit the panic button. Surely you have to anticipate the likelihood of this happening... especially with the injury records of our strikers. Hopefully they can do a pre-deal for someone for the start of jan (suggestion is they might be doing that with gakpo) - which with the world cup, limits the damage of striker shortage now.

Transfer window for me was a 7/10 which should have been a 9/10 if they had done the striker weeks ago. Yesterday was a 2/10 shambles

If the club pay over the top fees then it's a waste. But by trying to pay fair prices and live within our budget we are skint. If the selling clubs wanted to be greedy then tough. Look how much chelsea and man utd are paying for players.

I pay my bets. Gone for Frank. As he’s the most current and relevant of the available tossers.

I did have a little chuckle to myself when I heard Dieng had failed his medical at Nice. Good enough for him and Nice have wasted their time on him and not got anyone. Hah

It's been a good transfer window to be fair.

We've sorted midfield out and look stronger for it. Roca and Adams look fantastically strong and complement each others game perfectly.

Aaronson will add workrate, flair, goals and assists at 10 or out wide.

Sinisterra looks promising with a couple of goals already and hands in other goals. Looks a match winner to me.

Kristensen has to improve out of the new lads. He's shown glimpses of what he can do. Ayling and Dramah might fancy pushing him out on current form.

The young lads are hard to judge but the pedigree of Perkins, Gyabi and the new lad we signed yesterday looks solid even if we don't reap the benefits this season.

As previously stated above by others, a LB and a senior striker would have been perfect.

As for the outgoings. A lot of kids gone. Thought we were underpaid for Phillips and Raphinha but I didn't mind them going if they didn't want to be here. It kind of plants the seeds in others who otherwise wouldn't chose Leeds as first choice. So meh.

James leaving last night is a good move for all concerned. He's not good enough to play here. He can't benchwarm all his life. It's not ideal that he has potentially strengthened a team that might finish around us in the table but I believe they paid a substantial loan fee and all his wages.

Good window. Just not perfect. I'm a bit concerned on the wages front given the squad size.

If it was possible, you have gone up in my estimation!

Just the two weeks pal as it was a bit of a ****ty way to lose the bet.

Cant see him making much money though. Matt the agent using his usual spiel: duel aspect, light bright and airey, great aspect, views to die for, planning permission for an extension….
