I think the idea is to get these lads into the first team.....I'm sure if they think he can handle it,he'll be in.

Am I the only one who is singularly uninspired by Anthony Mowbray's press conferences? I'm not suggesting for a minute that he's not going to be good for us,but he's so dour.

    Means nowt to me that.

It's just his natural demeanour. Pressers are just a necessary part of the game, but they are seldom that illuminating, mostvof yhe news is already out these days.

I’d have him. As a person, a complete bell end, but would be absolutely ideal as a short term thing if his head was right

I'm not having any of this doom & gloom crap.

Sunderland have lost 3, so have Reading.

    We've scored 11, they've scored 9.

    We've conceded 9, they've conceded 11.

    Ha'way the Lads ...

... Pritchard with a top corner free kick then Gooch with a cut in from the left and a right foot past the keeper.

Great thread as usual @RTB, and I think we will win 2-1.
The only thing I can say with certainty, is Reading is definately further from Sunderland, than Hull.

Brilliant Smug, I'd put us down for the win but then read all the replies and was going with the happy with a draw or improved performance malarkey... stuff that for a game of soldiers... 2-1 to the lads...

We would like to invite both home and away supporters on Wednesday night to join with us in observing a minute's silence in memory of Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
The one minute's silence will then be followed by the National Anthem, 'God Save The King'.
Players and coaching staff from both sides will wear black armbands when we take on Sunderland at the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Wednesday evening and flags will fly at half mast.

    HA'WAY THE LADS MACKEMS ATTACKEM

Oh well, you can't win them all.
Massive blow losing Stewart at the smog match .
Hopefully Mowbray has the nous to grind out some results without him.

    Great thread as always RTB.
Going for a 1-1 draw, I fancy Evans to smash home one of his long range efforts.
