Hopefully they're thinking what a decent side we are more than we're thinking by heck it t'sheffied utd.... Up the R's
Given the quick turnaround from yesterday, I'd be very happy to come away unbeaten. Not at all convinced we will.
A point wouldn't be the worst result.... 4 points from Tuesday and Friday against the fakes, thanks very much....
No worries, they became boring decades ago and have lost their impact. If we want promotion we really need 3 points to close the gap to the top.
I’ve done something very stupid and gone and laid out £28.60 (odd price) plus booking fee to see us meekly tomorrow night. At least the roads should be clear on the way back.
Anyone know latest on Paal injury? He will be seriously missed if he cannot play. Dread to think about that Nico fellow playing in defence. A win is certainly possible, but a draw wouldn't be that bad either.
The International break doesn’t seem to have done them any favours. Three away wins before the break and then a home draw against Brum after. Maybe it will be a good time to go there (alternatively they will be looking for a reaction after expecting to win against Brum). Should definitely go for the three and see what this team can do against the league leaders. Be great to see our defence have a solid game against the other top scorers in the Championship.
Has a dead leg, highly doubtful he'll be OK for this or Reading game. Hope I'm wrong but can't see it. Nico is injured too so won't be him filling in, Kakay will have to play there unfortunately unless he changes formation and plays Clark- Salter there but can't see him doing that either in this fixture.
Beale has said Paal, JCS and Dickie have all been passed fit for tomorrow, according to WLS. I was thinking as well that JCS could possibly play LB if Paal wasn't fit and he and 2 other CB's were, but not necessary apparently.
Thank you for the update. A 'dead leg' has to be taken seriously, and must, of course, be treated and checked by a physician who specialises in a blood circulation condition, if that is what it turns out to be. I am therefore surprised that Beale has commented that Paal might be fit to play against Sheffield Utd. I wish Kenneth Paal a speedy recovery. He is a fine footballer and a very important player in the R's squad.
Be great news if everyone's fit for tomorrow, wait to see the starting line up but fingers crossed. Think we might see 1 or 2 changes anyway for fitness purposes. Possibly Amos or Dozzell starting along with Dykes.
So to me...this is a match I really don't expect anything from. Currently the best team in the league, at their own place, on a Tuesday night, after we had a hard match away on Saturday I hope we give them a game.....and come away without a red card or injury . A point would be a honus
It will be interesting to see what team MB has in mind for tonight. A lot of good conversations going on around the game. A tough task after a positive game on Saturday. Heckingbottom will be looking for a step up after dropping points to Brum. Beale will be looking for more success on the road from our lads. Have to say that there is more a feeling of how MB will present his team; a more positive approach and feel than we’ve had in a long time. It does feel that any changes are less tinkering and more adaptive to the needs of the game (or injuries). Yes, it would be so nice to have better cover at left back and striker; but we are where we are. Can we upset the applecart tonight. Of course we can. An interesting night ahead. C’mon u Rrrrrrrrsss!!
