Wasn't Trevor Cherry a LB? so probably Garry Kelly or Paul Reaney at RB.

Don't understand this angst regarding these managers, they where both successful in their alloted times at the club..... Wilko's beating the scum to the title is worth a gold clock on its own and his midfield quartet was the ultimate of everything you'd want from those positions....bielsa had us playing some of the best football with distinctly average players that even other fans loved it!....and going back to the don his record should have been cluttered with more silverware than it was, as he himself said he should have let his players of the leash earlier.....so it's horses for courses, different eras different game, although there is a certain winner regarding the best kit we've ever had yep the yellow one with blue/white flashes, and I ain't having no debate about that <whistle>

Yes remember that as well, was at the kop end and he nearly bust the net, then started walking towards the kop to gloat, didn’t Mark Hughes grab him and spun him around and warned him against doing it.

I was in the KOP as well Infidel, I don't remember the Hughes bit, but I remember that French twat taunting us. I just remember, fruit, coins and whatever else being thrown at him and supporters legging it out to find some scum fans to talk to;)

Well I got that wrong and heres the proof Infidel. He did score a fourth but it wasn't from a peno. The French twat missed a peno infront of the Southstand. Just shows you what you forget overtime.<wah>
