Top 3. I’m not even bothered if you saw the game. Make it up like some of the Radio Humberside callers.

Thank the lord someone’s post a MOTM thread.
1/ I’m going for Sinik, maybe only half a game but those crosses were sublime, deserved at least a shot on target.
2/ pelkas, he looks proper footballer to me, moves around the pitch with confident purpose and that goal was a thing of beauty.
3/ Elder, had a cracking game tonight, was at it from minute 1.
Special mention to coyle, oscapan ( beast ) and Christie, not a fan of your running style but you played well tonight son. All the team played well , it’s a team game after all….now where’s that rum !

Coyle, not a fan but he was excellent tonight
Oscar, did so much work, including chasing back to his 18 yard line in injury time to win a free kick..
Sinik.. wonderful little crosses that deceived them and unfortunately (for now) us...

All the back line... did the basics almost well...

Credit to the rest of the team. Quite a few others could easily have made that top 3.

Elder - ran his socks off . Defended when needed and had some good forward runs .
Christie - a cool professional performance bringing some experience to the right in front of Coyle .
Slater - another solid display from out bargain in the centre .
We battled hard as a team and stayed solid and strong when required.
    Well done boys

No one calls them anymore, it's really quite forlorn sometimes, but it's all done by text or tweet nowadays.

Maybe we should nominate Vern as board spokesman to call them up after every game?

    I think he'd appreciate that....

Absolutely agree. We grafted and gave ourselves a platform. Defence still a bit tentative, but came back to win instead of folded and that's down to the effort that they gave tonight and those boys led the way.

    Tufan - Didn't give them a sniff
Coyle - Great going forward tonight
    Oscar - He's back

Positives... I don't know how Pelkas, Sinik, Christie, Elder and even Jones and Doc didn't make that top 3. Very good, hard fought team performance tonight. For once we were definitely the better side.

Negatives... Greaves still seems to have the odd clanger in him, but overall looked like he was coming out of a slump in form. Slater doesn't seem to be at his best at the moment. I'd honestly give Doc a start for the time being as he's been immense in the past couple of games when he's come on. Also, we need to start opening games and second halfs quicker. We always seem to concede daft 'switched off moment' goals early.

    Coyle
    Elder
    Oscar

The first two are so underrated it's a joke. Probably our two best players so far this season yet they're always the first to be blamed when we don't win. As for Oscar, I can't remember a striker who does both the goalscoring and the hard work leading the line as well as he does, we usually get one or the other if we're lucky. He's an absolute gem.
