Tufan - looks much better with the game in front of him.
Coyle - not been his biggest fan but credit where it’s due, captains performance. Some nice link up play with Christie as well.
Oscar - the big man is back.

Could do with a couple of centre half’s who can dominate in the air, we look so shaky anytime a cross comes in our box. Overall thought much more positive performance, you could see the confidence come back after Pelkas scored, hopefully this can kick start a new beginning.

Oscar - battled as usual but tonight others battled with him, bullet header also gave us the three important points.
Elder - looked back to his effective best, brilliant corner to for Oscar’s goal.
Tufan - looked interested again and showed class and determination.
If I could have a fourth it’d be Slater, he harried them all night.
Edit: my joint fifth would be Dawson for recognising that Christie would be the perfect partner for Coyle, and Christie for giving Coyle the protection to enable him to defend and attack with more confidence.

I have to say that the defence still gave me the jitters at times, the five minutes added was torture, but hopefully the new management team will sort that, I just don’t think that they got Shota, and once the confidence comes back they’ll be as good as last season

Coyle, non fkn stop, showed bollocks to give magennis a go as well, stood up as Captain today
Elder, 2nd half esp broke the lines a few times and contributed throughtout
Tufan, anyone slagging this guy's workrate off is mental, really played like he gives a **** and didn't stop

Actually it's difficult for a change.

Elder had a good game causing them problems

Oscar back in the scoring trail

Coyle some good crosses and worked his socks off

Very close could have picked Sinik Slater Tufan Pelkas could all have been in there. To be honest I don't think there was a bad player tonight.

**** myself when Figs came on though.

Oh and forgot to mention Magennis is still poor felt sure he would score tonight.

Tufan - superb when given the responsibility in midfield

Elder - up and down the wing all night, energetic (could say similar about Coyle)

Estupinan - worked their CBs and got his reward

Coyle. Does it every week but others noticed tonight because of that cross for Pelkas goal and then that tackle on Maclean. He revelled in having the security of Christie in front of him, which has ben incredibly rare in his City career. I suspect that combination will continue for a while now.
Elder. Another who is often under appreciated. Fleming is going to have to battle to get that shirt back.
Tufan. Superb with the ball and some great tackles too tonight. However I do worry about his discipline in that position, seemed to switch off occasionally.

It's his position. He'll take liberties but this position is where you'll see the real Ozan.

Hope so. With the state of our defence, I’m not sure we need any of the two central midfielders taking liberties.
He did seem to occasionally lose focus and just wander when we didn’t have the ball.
I was relieved when Docherty came on, cos I assumed he would release Tufan further forward. It showed Dawson’s trust in Tufan in that position that Doc actually played in an advanced role.
    So Daws agrees with you.
Apparently Pedro was a central midfielder, so perfect match?

Coyle - A captains effort and performance
Elder - Always gives 100% - great crosses
Estupinan- Great winning header -leads the league in goals

Best performance in weeks. Win at Huddersfield on Sunday likely on this form.
