We will never get anywhere whilst Ken Bates is in charge! Grayson is a good manager. Ken Bates has paid for loanee players from our weekly gate money, while selling our best players off for millions. He has invested NONE of this money in buying players, or any of his own money for that matter. He will stay at Leeds United torturing us the fans, until he can make the tens of millions he wants, buy selling the club to rich foreign investors. Then maybe, just maybe, Leeds United might start to move forward. I feel sorry as hell for Simon Grayson and wish Ken Bates nothing but bad karma in his life....
Cheers Jonny... It's all really hard to take. I travelled for 4 hours by train to get to the blackpool match and then had to put up with that garbage. It's just not on! To what extent Grayson had his arm twisted or made his own decision about letting Schmeichel go, is of real interest to me as well... Hard to pin the blame on Schmeichel last year for some shocking defending at times, in my opinion.
If you think you traveled far, a mate of mine was over from South Africa for Wednesday's game! There is more to the Kasper story than just what we saw out on the field on matchdays. I thought his departure was very poorly handled in many repects but I have been very impressed by Andy Lonergan. On balance, with hindsight, I think the club did very well by this.
Ken Bates is a damn fine Chairman. Not only has he invested heavily in your club, but he also knows how to have a good time.
