I'm going to guss this will be like a patient in hopsital.

all he nurses will say we thought the patient was improving but he took a sudden down turn..... Someone will have a bad run of 4 or 5 games and then they will be given the chop.

Or of course like southampton someone with a bit of cash will look at manager and January window coming and replace their manager after next weekend.

I'm going to vote marsch for now as I think the others have a fair bit of support (bar rodgers, their fans do not like him any more)

Isn't O'Neill still Interim rather than permanent? Albeit he's starting to feel like a permanent interim. I think Conte's more likely to walk than be pushed.

he is interim which is an odd one 3 months later.

from Conte's issues with Chelsea i think he will work an angle to ensure a pay off. he really is not going to walk even if he's got a firm offer in his back pocket in italy (and this is very likely by end of season)

Only 1 point off the drop.

Now is the time for all clubs.

6 weeks to get your mid-season preseason training done and plans laid for January window.

Anyone who let's it go further is asleep at the wheel.

Sad that Frank Lampard is not the one to manage Everton when they come to Anfield.

Would be very good for Gerrard imo. Think international football is great for manager development, can't just buy they're way to success, they have to work with what they have and use tactics

I think he will end his career myself :)

He's shown none of the southgate ability to park 8 men and scrap for a set piece win.

Poland will want to get to next euros ,the group is poland v czechs and the rest of the group looks weak as piss. Would you back gerrard with his record at villa to deliver the top spot when theres actually just two games thats critical (and the first one is the very first game in the group away to czechs.)

I think he has no real defensive nous as a manager. I can't see him trying to be southgate and defending with 9 men back and Lewandowska up top so whats he going to do with them that anyone else can't?

they are in the nations league group a so are likely to be on a hiding there and in danger perennially of relagtion.

If he is seeing a short term path where he can stay home with the missus and fly about europe watching polish players for a while fair enough. topping their group is possible and qualification for europe in 2024 should be automatic, next nations league could be a debacle.

However for me if he could secure a pundit gig for 3-4mi la year then it would be more money and less hassle than this route in management.

IMO he's not getting a top club after this (and i certainly hope not for us) surely go be the pundit and enjoy some other aspect of life. ESP if the wife is dictating shes not moving for his jobs.

I would say he's very touchy feely so you've a fair chance of a quick squeeze

Certain parts of him are. Keita tried to touch his bumhole on a dare and has been continuously injured ever since.
