Dubai is quite affordable mate. Obviously, if you go for the decadent 7 star stay then it’s elitist. Don’t forget, Labour is cheap over there; Indian immigration.
Personally Dubai has never interested me as a holiday destination and i've turned down work opportunities there on ethical grounds, even though the rewards have looked attractive. Also recently turned down an approach for a role in Saudi for the same reasons.
they had an awful safety record when they were building the massive infrastructure - they’ve adopted osha standards now but easy to do after the dangerous stuff is over
It's very 2 faced too. I've worked out there for a short period. Nowhere to walk or pedestrianised, they used to book a taxi to drive people from the offices to the mall across the road, no **** 20m away. All the locals and non European workers just ran across traffic.
In that heat? You'd drop off. Seriously high summer I understand from a lad I knew that did airplane maintenance you cannt walk in it.
It was a 6 lane highway, busy as ****. They didn't give a **** about safety, but had to pretend to show they cared, which led to their solutions of taxis basically doing a u turn
Just turned on fa cup on BBC 4 Derby beating torquay 4-0. There's absolutely nobody in the ground. Where are the 6000 that went to anfield??? Dobbin from everton just scored and absolute better of a goal off a volley from.putosde the box and the place is 75% empty.
Was your eldest male or female? There’s a huge difference in experience imo depending on this! I’ve been many times, it’s a strange place and I could never live there but I’ve been to places that I disliked a lot more.
Single hot female. According to zingy. The central issues seem to be: women's rights LGBTQ++ rights Migrant worker abuse general get locked up for mad stuff ****. while males in lock in hotels might be having a great time I don't know.
I was more wondering whether the team going there for a training camp was similar to ordinary bods going there on holiday. Do holiday makers check out the local government of the places they go to stay? It's a genuine question. I haven't been abroad for years.
