Absolutely loved Jude Bellinghams arms in the air before Foden even connected with the ball to score. Love that confidence.

I definitely think they are a worse team since we last played them, whilst we have improved. Unfortunately I am not convinced by how much they made us look even better but hopefully it's a lot and we can progress all the way. It will be interesting to see how far the US can progress too as I thought they gave us a good game.

Not saying he doesn't deserve credit when we win, it's the manner of those displays when we begin so slowly like last night and the Yanks game.
Better teams will get in amongst us if we continue to start in this way and we'll suffer for it.
The tactics are down to the dour manager, and he will be blamed if this continues just as much as he'll be praised if he brings home the trophy which I sincerely hope we do.
I'm not anti manager, just don't think he inspires when he speaks to the media and feel he takes that attitude into the games, all my opinion of course.

I think Southgate managed the group games really well, won the 2 easier games comfortably and did not lose the other.job done.

It's wonderful that we beat Wales and won the group, we'll done England.

    Everything changes now though.

Iran, USA and Wales were all hesitant and cagey against England. USA especially knew their best chance of progress was a draw against England so only had one attempt on goal.

England haven't been attacked yet and Senegal can attack despite losing, late on, to the Dutch they had fifteen goal attempts. They're athletic and strong so England will have to be prepared for a real physical encounter.

I think Pickford could be the key player in a hard fought 1-0 victory.

Tournaments are all about results. Obvious to say I know. But 1-0 is the same as 4-0 once you’ve reached knockouts. Being hard to beat is key for me.

Khazri scores against France, but Australia take the lead against Denmark as well. Very interesting group this.
