The fact the game is opening up is helping England. It looked pretty pedestrian for a while with our backs struggling to find midfield

38 minutes of slow, lethargic play culminating in continually giving the ball away in our half and leaving Maguire and his awesome pace totally unprotected. Go to hoof ball and could of had 3 in 7 minutes. Great end just why oh why did it take so long for Southgate to pump out some orders. If we do the same against Frsnce Mbappe will murder us

The plaudits about the best young players usually go to the young Spanish lads, but Bellingham and Foden......... up there with the best of them at this tournament

It was a delicoius back heel by Foden that set Bellingham away for the first and then reverse rolls for the 2nd with Bellingham setting Foden away allowing him to make the 1st time pass to Kane........ what talent

A thoroughly professional job....... just the odd 20 minutes when England gave the ball away cheaply in dangerous positions and Senegal should have scored to take the lead....... Since then good work all round......

    Well done lads........

A convincing win after a sluggish start. Well done, Gareth, Harry and the lads.

Very dominant display, although they did have a few chances, and Pickford made one very good save. Now on to next Saturday and France. It is going to be a fun week of work and dropping kids at school in Paris, and an even more interesting week next week, depending on the result.

Bellingham is different gravy, have to get him on the ball as much as possible in next game. We all know we play so much better when it's at a high tempo, so why do we continually start games so sluggishly ? We really need to protect that back 4 against France and hit them fast on the counter. Gonna be one hell of a game, come on u 3 Lions !!
