Ooooohhhhh, is that Ice Cream Soda. Getting a few coins back on the empties in the early 70's. Bliss, utter bliss please log in to view this image That and Creamola Foam used to be my favourites as a wee boy. Marvellous days.
Life was so much better in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Since the millenium things have gown downhill steadily.
Anyone else got snow today? However, it's not proper 4 feet snow like we used to get in the good old 70's, 80's and 90's ☃️
Yup, it was baltic here last night. I haven't had a beer (or any alcohol) in almost 6 months but I'm seriously thinking of buying a couple of bottles of Whisky and going up in the hills and downing said bottles of Whisky, falling asleep and passing away peacefully from hypothermia. That'll show those ****ing money grabbing energy suppliers what for. Be it on their conscience forever more. Although, knowing my luck there will be an afterlife and someone will come up to me and produce an unpaid gas and electricity bill. Bastards!!
It’s pretty bad. I often wonder how the old yins cope. When my daddy was here, his heating was on permanently. Even in the summer he still had it on at night and morning. Glad he’s no here to see this pish. It’s 32 degrees where my kids are - and it’s no even summer yet.
Imagine what it was like even further back, no central heating, no washing machines, no showers, sometimes no baths even, kids having to sleep 4 to a bed, back then they tended to have larger families as well And that's not to mention the outside cludgie Imagine bursting for a slash at 4 in the morning in the depths of winter?? "cludgie" **** me, I haven't used that word in donkeys!! One of my favourite words.

I remember me and 2 of my sisters shared a room with my parents. House with wood chip wallpaper. Was always ****ing freezing. Mind the place got renovated and all they did was put a radiator in the hall and the kitchen - rest of the place was ****ing freezing I know my older brothers and sisters were born when the old yins lived in a room and kitchen in Partick. There would have been 2 adults and 4 kids before they moved
