Morning, morning. Hope everyone tickety-boo. First post of 2023, from my good self, so a belated 'Happy New Year' to the membership, say I.

New Year, new words?!? Ummmmm...no, I'm still droning on about Mahler at Cheltenham. Let's reflect. He was the only stallion to sire more than one winner at Cheltenham's October meeting, he was the only stallion to sire more than one winner at Cheltenham's November meeting and at the Cheltenham December fixture (1 day) he had one winner from 2 runners (at 5/1). What then happened on New Years Day??? Mahler had 1 winner from 3 runners (at 10/1). Stunning form from the old boy and can't wait to see how he fares on 'Trials Day'. 'Mahler Mania' come Festival 'tapes up'...could be, I say could be. The worry, re these stats, though must be that connections could see these positives and now flood Cheltenham with Mahler's runners (and runners who probably aren't up to the task but merely an afterthought reflecting these strong stats). Anyway time will tell...

    Good luck all.

You’ll be interested to know there’s a Mahler running at Taunton today Tintern abbey. I’m happy to take it on with Sawpit Sienna.

There’s a word or two for Singapore saga in the hunter chase at a price also at Taunton.

Jumping wildly left occasionally on a right handed track may of been the reason she didn’t win.
