9 have been declared for the Pertemps Qualifier at Warwick on Saturday.

I would suggest that the membership watch this heat together with their notebooks as in 2 out of the last 3 seasons the Series Final winner has emerged from this Warwick Qualifier - Third Wind in '22 (3rd at Warwick) and old boy, Sire Du Berlais (4th at Warwick) in '20.

I believe that Tobefair and Barney Dwan both qualified from the Warwick race and both finished second in the final. You are most likely looking for one rated over 135 and does not actually win this qualifier.

On Friday the 14.20 Sedgefield, it looks as though Large Action and Tom Creen have this all to themselves. As such, for those who like a gamble on what looks like a certainty Tom Creen is available at 9/4 and Large Action is available a 100/30

12 points on Tom Creen and 9 points on Large Action would return 39 points ( ie odds of almost Evs one of them winning)

Looks like that 9/4 has gone completely, at least for the time being

Tom Creen is an improving 8yo who has taken well to fences and is better at this trip. Large Action has the physique of a chaser and won easily on chasing debut. Cash Again is an 11yo who doesn't seem to have the pace at this distance. I'm confident <laugh> EOFT

Refitting of blinkers on the front runner, will they work?

What’s your thoughts on Rae Guest’s runner in the bumper at Huntingdon?
Landed a nice gamble the last time he had a runner here.

Given the current odds of 6/4 and 9/2, an alternative to this now, would be 16 points on Tom Creen and cover it with 4 points on Large Action (ie a free Evs bet on the former if either wins)

Very interesting runner. Pedigree is from the flat but with stamina so that wouldnt put you off. Not the strongest race and certainly a positive jockey booking.

I have to admit I followed your advice on this Ron and made a small profit, probably not enough to justify this betting strategy long-term! But thank you for the experience :)
