Actually i don't agree Norway. LH had a good game against Posh and Brighton, but had a shocker against Middlesbrough imho.

Well first of all I'm delighted with the 3 points. But we played awful, nothing like the way we can do. To be fair to you lot though, you played very well for a team down near the bottom. If you continue playing like that, I can't see you being down there for too long. A well-organized hard to beat side.

Happy for Skippy to score despite being offside. He really needs a goal atm so hopefully this can set him off on a run like how he finished last season for us. All in all though, despite not playing well, I thought it was another solid defensive display from us.

Onwards and upwards. Good luck to you lads for the rest of the season, besides when we visit you!

    Cheers Magooder <ok>

I think most of us have missed two key factors in the idea of having a TV ref.

One, the travesty of referees retiring in their mid-40s (necessarily due to the pace of the game, unfortunately), is that most of them just start to earn respect for their performances in their last few years.

Two, bearing in mind that the team that wins a decision always gets the next kick of the ball with the exception of after a goal, a rule where once the ball has been kicked a decision can't be overuled would actually speed up the game. Teams that know they might have gotten away with it and might otherwise have wanted to take the sting out of the game would be desperate to get the thing back in play.

Defensively a poorer game than his previous two possibly, but he still contributed more in attack, so I wouldn't really say 'shocker'. And I certainly wouldn't blame him for their goal - he lost the ball near the touchline whilst pushing forward, mainly because he was tripped and pushed over from behind. If he's guilty of anything, it's of being too lightweight IMO

Agreed, shocker was strong, but it was a hugely disappointing performance. I don't blame him for the goal, but yes, because he is lightweight he allowed the ball to get towards our penalty area...hmm, therefore, i blame the fact that he is a lightweight, not the fact that because he's a lightweight he lost the ball. I guess i do blame him after all! ;) (that is, after i've blamed the idiot lino!)
