We play them after the international break of course. But for all those who went last year do you think Mr Poyet and Co will use the same tactics again this season and completely park the bus and turn it into the dire game like last season just to ruin our record?. If there's one game where I could see a drab 0-0 its this one, Unless of course they actually come to try and win then we should have to much for them.
I hope they come and play for a win and actually attack us. We play better against sides that attack us, however teams are no doubt realising this now.
I can just see them being so negative and hoping for some decision in the box like last time, However saints have proven me wrong a lot of times this season I hope this is one of them!
I actually enjoyed last season's game, though not the result (which would have been worse but for Kelvin's heroic penalty save). I do expect them to use the same tactics, and we'll need to be patient again, but this time I expect us to get the result.
I wonder how Poyet squares his tactics last year with his recent statement that he would rather resign than abandon his attacking football mentality?
He'll come for a point and get his team to play boring, defensive football, they wil also play dirty and time waste from the start. That's Gus' idea of great attacking football hahahaha.
I think they should give us a guard of honour at the start of the match for setting a new club record of consecutive home wins
Love to sing a chant about us being like Daggenham and Redbridge. We are so hoof ball. The man makes me so angry. Not many people are able to achieve this Even pompey dont make me this angry.
Poyets comments about us being long ball have basically left egg on his face. Make that half a dozen. Think we should beat them (and why not?) and expect Poyet to make a comment about our big budget etc.
We have scored fifteen goals in our last five home games; Brighton has scored two in their past five away. If they come to SMS looking for a point, they'll be going home empty-handed
I feel for Dag & Red. If only they had Lambert, they'd be top of the Championship right now rather than fighting for their L2 survival.
I'm not at all worried about brighton... They have some great players no doubt but some of the football they play is so negative... If we play our fast slick moving football we can, they won't come near us
Currently Brighton are the only team I am worried about because they're the only team who can beat us in our next game. After we have beaten them I will forget about them for a few months. Yes I think they will play the same way but this time I think we will have too much for them.
I'd like us to score an alehouse goal just to piss Poyet off. A long goal kick straight onto Lambert's head would be good. After we've dazzled them with our slick passing obviously.
Were not allowed to do that anymore or the stewards will have to eject all 10,000 of us singing them!
