Prediction League Season 2022-23

I've made SMH's joker change. I don't know when the Peterborough game was called off, late in the day obviously, and Musty has lost out on his joker for that one. I see what I can do about that now.

I see the ref gave both the managers in the Oxford v Ipswich a choice to abandon it at around the 75 minute mark due to fog. Both managers agreed it should be stopped until the ref told them that at that late stage, the 1-1 score line would stand as a result. Ipswich then changed their minds and said they wanted to continue. Oxford scored the winner in the 83rd minute. Heart breaking isn't it?

So: some good scores considering the reduced number of games played. Plym and Sensible led the way with 15. Plym and Musty share the first goal time of 26 minutes: Plym being 3 minutes early and Musty 3 late.



Goals per game came out at the lower end of the spectrum despite a 4-2 and a 5-1.




Plym consolidated top spot while Musty, Lyndhurst and Sensible closed up on the pack. Anyone else I should mention? Definitely not.



At the moment, there are 9 games on Tuesday night. Please get your entries in early so I can turn the results around quickly but do check back for postponements. Just post a one-liner if you want to change a joker as a result.

 

I've never heard of a referee being able to say that a scoreline at 75 minutes will be confirmed by him as a full-time result.

Was he within EFL rules to say that ?

Did it happen in the 1950's/60's when we had real pea soupers....week after week ?

All games are ON at the moment but there are weather warmings for fog in the western half of the country from 16:30 to 22:30 tonight. Luckily Ipswich are at home so they won't have any tricky decisions to make.
