I'm not sad to see Dajaku leave. He needs to keep off Instagram and get his head down and become the footballer he portrays himself to be on social media.
Not that I’m going to get into a massive debate about it but I have to get it off my chest again like, some of our fans baffle me absolutely adoring O’nien or Gooch because they get stuck in occasionally even though they’re very limited footballers (who didn’t really shine in L1 never mind the championship) then writing off a kid who was training with the likes of Coutinho/Lewandowski/Muller as a teenager because he can’t get a start over a £30m+ Loanee who’s probably been our best player this season. Haway lads we’re better than that. Hope he goes there and gets plenty of minutes in his preferred role coming back full of confidence.
Cant understand why we ever gave him a contract in the first place tbh., Hoff was the better bet of the two and he wasn't any better than what we already had in the U23's at the time.
Instagram has **** all to do with his football mind. It's not as if he's sitting on his arse scrolling through rather than training. He's just doing what 21 year olds do.
Totally agree mate. I dont care which club he came from and who hes trained with in the past. Hes had plenty of chances with us over the last year and hes done nothing to show me that hes worth a place in the squad. Hes no better than Diamond imo
I tend to agree with Tees here. The kid has hardly set the place alight since he joined us, he is at a club where youth is embraced and encouraged to develop. He does spend an inordinate amount of time pi55ing about on social media instead of knuckling down on his career. But as you say..its what 21 year olds do....but for me, he needs to sort his priorities out
How much time does he spend on social media? What is the correct amount of time? It's far more bizarre to me that grown men are following the social media movements of 21 year old footballers.
If we had any intention of bringing Dajaku back we wouldn't have let him go to Switzerland. He won't develop much over there for the English leagues. I agree with earlier comment he's merely in the shop window.
I can't talk for others, but I only follow SAFC and affiliated links....thankfully my career as gone pretty well, so I have no issues about the actual time I spend on specifically Instagram...as it doesn't interfere with what I see as important. But I see this is another subject thats about to go down a route that will become personal and confrontational...so i'll back out now
Personally I hope Dajaku does well and starts hitting the target, that would be the win, win situation we all would want, including him. Time will tell.
He looked a decent bet to me in the brief time he had here, as with a few others, wrong place wrong time.
How has he had ample opportunities? What’s the biggest run of games he was given in L1? I can’t even remember him playing ONCE as a 10. Youth wasn’t given a chance before Mowbray came in either.. Pritchard was always going to be the first choice and then we signed Diallo who’s playing there currently so you can’t begrudge him not getting a game over either of those.
