Did anyone watch BBCQT lastnight, Fiona Bruce might as well give up the BBC job and become a Tory candidate she is so biased

Not to be confused with the Troy MP also named Fiona Bruce

On the subject of Tory MPs with TV shows, which is somehow not against at least seven ministerial rules...

Shame she found her way out of that jungle.
I voted to keep her in - indefinitely.

And this was all so avoidable, because all Sunak had to do was...well, anything

Instead he chose to be a wet wipe and not only is this story not going away, to the point where Fiona Bruce was apparently getting a bonus for every comment about Zahiwi she shut down on last night's Question Time because the public have longer memories than the BBC Head of News thinks they do, and it;s going to keep coming back

Just like literally anything related to the continued employment of Suella Braverman, which is something else Sunak bottled

Zahawi found to have committed a serious breach of the Parliamentary code and finally sacked. Well, blow me down with a feather - who would've seen that coming? <doh><laugh>

2nd question is a good one. Any other member of the public would already be facing criminal prosecution.

What did Boris Becker get done for ? A person can have their living allowance removed for missing 1 appointment but this shyster takes the tax payers for millions and he is only sacked as chairman of the Tory party not even thrown out of parliament
This country needs a new constitution

I think the Becker analogy is slightly different as I recall, but I certainly wouldn't disagree with your conclusion.
The UK is a social and political basket case, led by corrupt donkeys and manipulated by an ideogically dubious media.

Good to see Zahawi showing humility and self-awareness in his demise and letter to Sunak. <doh>
No apology, no acknowledgement, no shame - just an attack on those that brought him to task!
    Shameless ****. :emoticon-0183-swear

    Arrogant tw*t
Why did Sunak need an ethics adviser to tell him what he must have known for himself?
Zahawi was under investigation by HMRC from April 2021 but nobody knew apparently, not even Zahawi, who said it was all “smears”.
We are governed by these corrupt, lying bastards. What a thought!

As you say, Zahawi was under HMRC investigation in April 2021. He knew he was, as he met with HMRC & his advisers. PROVEN FACT.
If he did not reveal that to his Party / Gov at the time then he was guilty as charged. It did not take an investigation & as such, Sunak is equally culpable.
Neither should be near public office!
