Nicky Sumerbee said good things about us on BeIN, but Jason McAteer (I think it was) was saying we couldn't play like that every game, and seemed to think we'd raised our game because of playing in front of an unusually large crowd in a Premier League stadium. Idiot!

100% agree with you Makemstine. I genuinely believe that Patto will get an England call up and be Jordan's successor, making sure that the Saudi lover (N. Pope) never makes it to be England's No 1.

Absolutely the worst news. Feel for the lad as it’s a horrible injury and a long road to recovery.

Sorry mate but that is complete scaremongering, even ignoring the fact that we don't know much about it yet, and it might not be as bad as feared. It's a horrible injury for sure and he might be out for a long time, but plenty of players are back within 5-6 months. How many players under the age of 30 can you name that haven't played football again after a ruptured Achilles?

Was Mcateer the one who bumped into Jimmy White in a nightclub, instantly mimicked a bent over the table snooker pose and shouted 'ONE HUNDRED AND EEIIGGHHHTEEEEEYYYY!!!!'

Considering he was a professional player and now they think he’s worth y of a pundits job , it’s quite unbelievable how little knowledge he has . Is he the only person who isn’t aware that our attendances are bigger than Fulham’s ?

Did he really make out the lads enjoyed playing in front of a big crowd so upped their game?

    My thoughts too
    Patto was excellent today.
The whole team played really well and the support was out of this world <applause>

McAteer once filled in a credit card application. I know the story to be true as I worked at the time for the bank he applied to. On the application form, the part which asks you for : POSITION.. expects an answer like Executive, Manager, Team Leader...that thick twonk put in central midfielder...

On his own or with the rest of the squad?

(In first class I mean, not in the bog)
