If it DOES happen I assume it'll be deadline day as Dyche will want to assess the full squad before letting anyone go on loan
I think he will keep them up. It looks like a squad he will get an extra 25% out of. There are some very good defenders that just need organisation. Top keeper. Leaders in there as well. Lads in the middle of the park that are athletes. Light up top obviously. Players he knows really well already.
I think it's the best appointment they could make. They need to go back to basics. He had a very solid defence at Burnley with Keane and Tarkowski, he's got the best out of McNiell before and I think the likes of Pickford and Calvert-Lewin will thrive under his direction. Also, worst case scenario and they do go down, they've got probably the best manager to bring them back up so they don't have to start everything again.
Obvious choice. Everton aren't great, but they are better than bottom three. They will stay up without a doubt IMO.
My second team. They remind me of how things were under Ellis. An owner with pots of money but clueless about football and getting bad advice. They need Kenwright to step away. Hopefully Dyche will motivate them.
This reminds me of when Bobby Robson was at Newcastle ... ... a man I respect at a club I despise. Everton cheated to keep their league position when they bribed Wimbledon to throw their game and I'd love to see them lose it now. It's ironic that the Everton supporters who, like West Ham, see their football style as iconic should have to welcome Dyche who's a real hobnail boot manager. My hope is that Everton's players will see themselves as above Dyche and fail to buy into his methods. Come on Arsenal, batter them on Saturday and keep up the good work.
Congratulations Sean, I'm delighted for you. Great opportunity for a top bloke. Now give us back Ellis Simms, you ****
