Day 3 - usually the toughest day of the week from a betting view, but there are some short priced favourites today so a bit different maybe to usual. 1.30 MIGHTY POTTER - hard to see him getting beat, not fully convinced that Appreciate it is back to top form. Balco Coastal a good each way bet 2.10 A wide open race but I'm going for THE BOSSES OSCAR at 16/1. Pulled up in the Coral Cup a year ago, but 2nd in this a couple of years ago. A claimer on board, trained by Gordon Elliott and a good prep race at Musselburgh a month ago. I also like the look of Mill Green, 3rd last year and Green Book, good festival form. Both available at big prices. 2.50 SHISHKIN a class above these at his best. Janidil can run into a place 3.30 the more i look at this race the more open it appears. I'm going to go for HOME BY THE LEE who has ran so well this season. At 66/1 Dashel Drasher can run into a place! 4.10 A tentitive selection will be HAUT EN COULEURS ridden by the new star Michael O Sullivan and trained by Willie Mullins 4.50 Probably the most emotional race of the day and it would be great if Magical Zoe or Foxy Girl can win this for Henry de Bromhead 5.30 No idea - will have a look at this later!
Todays darts... 1:30 - Mighty Potter and Appreciate It both in AP bets 2:10 - An Tailliur, Maxxum 2:50 - I don't have anything in this one... 3:30 - Flooring Porter and my ole fav Paisley Park 4:10 - Datsalrightgino and War Lord 4:50 - Foxy Girl 5:30 - Angels Dawn, Dunboyne and Dr Kananga Here's hoping then... Good luck to all today...
Unbelievable, when SDB was winning pertemps off decent marks i did wonder why connections didnt have a go at this race. Did I have the courage of my convictions? Did I f***
Yet another Irish winner and the second one who was previously trained here. It’s 3 if you include the Champion Chase winner who was originally with Tom Lacey. The message is fairly clear, if owners want a Cheltenham winner send your horse Ireland
