How much longer will Kane wait? He's broken pretty much all records bar Shearer's EPL record there now and got not much to show for it. Could have forced a way through to City in the summer but stuck it out at Spurs - if they don't make CL though I think that will be him done.

Son as well, he's been there 8 years now, perennial runner up and he's losing his yard of pace that made him world class for a few seasons. There is a big change coming at Spurs over the next few years and they need to replace their aging stars shortly .

They haven’t had an attendance below 61400 in Premier League games this season so that average must include League Cup. They more or less sell out all their PL games.

Yeah Spurs don't win things, apart from a freak League Cup win in 08 under that Ramos clown, their last trophy was in 91.

The league was there's for the taking in 2016 but they still managed to **** that up.

Conte like short manager stints were he wins trophies quickly, that was never going to happen there. And now Harry Kane has the scoring record there, he'll be straight out the door in the summer.

He's got the record at Spurs now, so what else is left for him there? That was all that was keeping him there.

I can see him staying in the Prem to beat Shearer's record but certainly not an Spurs. Man U or is seem most likely, Liverpool maybe.

Interesting to see how Spurs do now. I thought Conte had somehow nullified their quick counter-attacking ability, which was their strength last season by getting them to play long spells with 9 behind the ball. It didn't help that Son was off-form. Their transition from defence to attack was electrifying last season and they seem to have lost that. While Kulusevski is a great player he also tends to hold the ball up so slowing attacks further.

I suspect that they might see a new lease of life without Conte and could be a hard challenge for 4th place.

I must be the only one who thinks he plays for himself and not the team

They would be mid table and not in the champs league without him.

It's a bit like saying we would have been better off without Shearer.

The 271 goals he's scored for the team suggest otherwise.

Why did I know that? Please tell me, I'm intrigued.

Plus if you're trying to make out he's greedy and is only interested in getting goals himself, the large number of assists he gets invalidates that argument too.

Reminds me of a time years ago I went out with a girl and messaged her the next day saying "was really cool to see you, had an ace time", but a few hours later I realised cos of the autocorrect, what i sent her was "was really book to see you, had a bad time"
