Was supposed to be seeing that this week, but got the covid a couple of weeks ago and still fairly bad. Gonna have to bin it off unless I rapidly improve over the next couple of days. Hopefully I'm better for when Dungeons and Dragons comes out the following week, looks ok film and has Michelle Rodriguez in furs and leather in it, so even if it's **** I'll be happy.
Luther Film - 7.5 Dark as usual but not quite as good as some of the series' episodes but still a good watch and a strong Luther fix. Serkis plays his role well too. Operation Fortune - 6.6 It's alright, one of those action comedy films that you won't say is a classic but will probably watch it again when it's on TV of an evening. Something about Aubrey Plaza for me too, she's got that "I'm a fantastic ****" vibe about her, definite wld from me.
Watched Luzzu on Sunday night... https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11379584/ https://www.theguardian.com/film/20...ed-study-of-fisher-folk-trying-to-stay-afloat Probably boring as fook to most people, but I enjoyed it, even though it was a sentimental subtitled film from Maltese. One mans struggle to still try and earn a living as a fisherman, in a boat passed down the generations.
Started some reality show on Netflix called Outlast, terrible ratings but I've enjoyed the first few episodes. Basically a bunch of complete ****s are dumped in Alaska and have to survive.
Watched the first episode of North Sea Connection the other night, looks like it could get really interesting. Second episode tonight.
