i don't give a **** about how many Kane has scored against San Marino or similar crap teams, for me its about the WC and the Euros, and who scores when it counts the most. and to be fair i don't think Kane's miss got as much stick/abuse as the likes of Rashford/Saka/Sancho for missing their pens in the Euros, most of his comments were related to it going in to orbit rather than the colour of the player!!

i asked about the penalties for the other previous record goal scorers to see if they padded out their record with penalties or scored from 'open play'.

not a hater, just a realist - when it mattered most Kane bottled it.

Don't all players get more success against worse teams? I'm sure Shearer did as well as Cole, Fowler, Henry, etc. If they didn't score regularly against poor teams you'd have to question how good they were.

 

Do those numbers even stack up? I'd have thought some of those 18 penalties were also some of those 32 goals. I sense some very shoddy mathematics here. Someone should tell him to also make a clickbait Venn Diagram.

Dunno ... but do know that Jamie Vardy made 26 appearances for England, the vast majority as a sub, - he scored 7 goals ... over 50% of his goals came against not just decent opposition, but Germany, Italy, Spain and the Nerherlands ... should have been given much more game time when he was in his pomp ...
