That's a ludicrous increase, especially considering the lack of changes.
What's different to last season in terms of personnel? Not a lot.

Here is some supporting context ...

    Spurs

    Attack
    - attempts : 5.99486%
    -- off target : 4.29348%
    -- on target : 6.81729%
    -- blocked : 11.8012%
    -- scored : 0.567108%

    Opposition

    Attack
    - attempts : 10.1449%
    -- off target : 8.12656%
    -- on target : 11.4257%
    -- blocked : -0.246103%
    -- scored : 44.5652%

    ------------------------

So Spurs have ~ 5/6 % more attempted / on target
shots at goal, but no improvement in scoring.

By contrast, the opposition have ~ 10/11 % more
attempted / on target shots at goal, but a 44 %
    improvement in scoring.

Conte-ball 2022-23 appears to offer the opposition
better scoring opportunities than Spurs 2021-22 did.

Notable changes in performance for the season to date (games = 25) .
Measures expressed as a % of the overall 2021-22 per game measures ...

    Spurs :

    1. Number of goals scored from corners has increased by 6x .

    2. Number of red cards accrued has doubled.

    3. Number of OG conceded has decreased by 49%

    Opposition

    4. Number of goals scored by headers has decreased by 62%

    5. Number of OG conceded has decreased by 49%

    6. Number of red cards accrued has decreased by 74% .

My suggestion for the causes of :

    - 1 is due to the quality of crosses, and positioning of players for
    "flick ons"

    - 2 is due to unnecessary rash tackles

    - 3 is due to the opposition making fewer dangerous crosses into the box
where the ball could be deflected in

    - 4 is mainly due to the Spurs defence being able to deal wuth crosses

    - 5 is due to the opposition conceding zero fluke OG this season

    - 6 is that the Spurs attack is not putting thr opposition under
sufficient persistent pressure to draw rash tackles

    Analysis of report R4.

This is at the 2/3 point of the season (traditionally
deemed to be the start of the "business end" of the season) .

There is not really much of real significance IMHO,
other than the GA is almost the same as it was for
    all of last season,

    On the Spurs defence :

Conceding less from corners. Nothing from free kicks.
The only notable measures from the stats is that
the number of clean sheets has dropped, and the %
in saves being made has increased by an equivalent amount.

    Spurs :

The GA total equals that of last season, with only 3/4 of this season gone.

Measures expressed as a % of the overall 2021-22 per game measures ...

    Spurs :

    1. Number of clean sheets has decreased by 59%

    2. Number of saves made is effectively the same as last season

    3. Number of OG conceded has decreased by 56%

    4. Goals scored from headers has increased by 89%

    5. No goals have been scored from free kicks

    6. Offsides committed have decreased by 33%

    Opposition

    7. Number of clean sheets has decreased by 56%

    8. Number of saves made has effectively decreased by 33%

    9. Number pf fouls committed has decreased by 40%

    10. Number of OG conceded has decreased by 56%

    11. Number of red cards accrued has decreased by 78%

    12. Penalty kicks awarded has decreased by 34%

    13. No goals have been scored from free kicks

My suggestion for the causes of :

    - 1/7 is due to general defensive lapses

    - 2 is due to inviting opposition pressure in the final third
too much, and allowing better quality attempts on goal

    - 3/10 is due to the attackers not putting in sufficiently dangerous
crosses/shots to force an attempted block

    - 4 is due to the quality of crosses being made

    - 5/13 is due to the poor quality of free kicks (shots on goal or
    crosses)

    - 6 is due to either less attempts being made to beat the defensive
line, or the opposition is less effectively in holding the line

    - 8 is due to the Spurs attack being less accurate on goal

    - 0 is due to the Spurs attack not forcing the opposition to make
    poor tackles in dangerous areas

    - 11 is that the Spurs attack is not putting the opposition under
sufficient persistent pressure to draw rash tackles

    - 12 is due to the Spurs defence not making many poor tackles in
    the box

Anyone remotely surprised by this or expecting it to change before the end of the season?
