Pretty typical city performance that one today, played some good stuff but final ball consistently poor, down the right allahyar and coyle lack the technical ability to take us forward as 1st choice players, could be last match we see doc too, isn't up to the level of others. Really miss a striker.

I like the way Vaughan tries to make stuff happen, but I agree, a boy v men. It's a bit daft how much game time he's been given.
Allahyar just hasn't developed. Effort there but nothing else. I'd much prefer Longman, at least he takes a man on and gets in the occasional half decent cross.
Lot of work and improvement needed ready for next season.

He's probably thinking, why am I getting x10 times more possession than the entire forward line - that's if there is one.

15th then, we benchmark historically at 14th so slightly dissapointing, expect better next season.

That’s not really accurate, they certainly made several changes, but most had plenty of appearances and players like Lansbury and Bradley would both be first choice if they hadn’t suffered long term injuries this season.

If we're budgeting top 10 that's where the expectations should be.

Apparently Docherty was in tears clapping the fans at the end, so assume he’s off.

He showed today why we need Darlow or better.
Decent shot stopper but nothing like what we need for playing out from the back. Too slow, and his decision making (on when to do it, when not to) is poor.

He looked absolute class in the League 1 winning team, but he just hasn't kicked on in the Championship, I don't think we play a style that suits his driving box to box play anymore. He has been a good servant to the club and I hope he gets a decent team to play for in the future.

I thought it was a decent game, both teams played some good stuff, just nobody had their shooting boots on (in our case, obviously, because we ran out of strikers weeks ago).

Argument is that none of our 3 strikers available, doc in for Slater, Simons in for seri, high earners like Pelkas, Woods dropped for 3 kids on the bench.

We haven't been able to play a first choice 11 for most of the season.

Woods has to be released if we have play off ambition. (I know he's under contract, but he has to be moved on).

Surplus to requirements, he was a bit of knee-jerk / left-field signing, I think Liam will try to move him on in the summer.

But we are still at 10 shots on target for the last 6 games OLM... are strikers the only ones allowed to shoot/ score.

How many shots on target against?

We have a solid defensive foundation. Just got to build on it.

    Liam Rosenior @hullcity to @HumbersideSport ...

Jones to get new improved deal; Docherty contract option excercised; Coyle in talks; Pelkas and Ebiowei going back.

Hear that and more on other players in interview on @RadioHumberside .
