Han-Noah Massengo compensation explained as clubs circle out-of-contract Bristol City star Han-Noah Massengo is an in-demand free agent across Europe as his deal at Bristol City expires https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/massengo-compensation-contract-bristol-city-8482164
Thanks, Wiz. An interesting read, I had no idea such organizations existed. I just assumes a contract expiry meant a player was 'free' to go where ever they wanted.
I think he’s trying to say the good business is getting his wages off our books, and getting compensation for him. What he fails to understand is we didn’t have a choice, HNM drove the process, all we could do was ensure we offered him a contract at least as good as his previous one, so we’d get some compensation.
I have a bad feeling over HNM ... I am aware of whats been said regarding wages and fee's however HNM is a likely quality prospect for the future .. for who ever! I would say to replace him as we are likely in the process of doing we should offer a 3/4 year contract and up the ante by £5-6000 per week equal to buying a player for £1m - £1.5m. give a sell on clause of say " an offer of " £6m+ HIS CURRENT WAGES ARE NOT THAT HIGH! ............... Jay now left for Coventry on better terms than now! ...... We are supposed to building a high energy team ... yet getting rid of ... letting go 2 high energy players!!!
Ashton was confused, but did state that his comments were relevant to HNM so I guess I am "up" indeed probably in front having pointed it out .....
NO .. I made a statement that hinged around ROD stating I SHOULD KEEP UP ... I stated you referred to HNM and RR was on about JS .. NOTHING TO DO WITH RR comment stating he was on about JS which was pretty obvious, and didnt really have any confusion attached as to whom it referenced! as was your comment confirming you were on about HNM .. although that was from confusion on your part not understanding who RR was on about!...
Wherever HNM goes I wish him well. It didn't work out at AG, sometimes just a change of scenery can bring out the best in a player. Same with horses.
