    Don’t worry at @haslam , I’ve got this one

    Player of the Season:

Many to choose from but I'll go for Pope.

Most Improved Player of the Season:

So many to pick from. I think many of the players had shown glimpses of quality in the past (especially the like of Willock) so I'm going for Murphy. Prior to this season I never wanted to see him in a Newcastle shirt ever again

    Most Disappointing Player:

I was expecting a lot more from Targett as I thought he looked good at the back end of last season but there's a couple of reasons why Burn has been playing LB for us all season.

    Signing of the Season:

Honestly think we're yet to make a massive blunder yet in the market with the new owners (holding out on Gordon). There's three obvious choices but I've got to go for Pope as I think he's the single most important difference to our team. Tough one though as Botman and Isak have also been instrumental.

    Goal of the Season:

I've got to go for Almiron vs Fulham. The goal itself was sublime but also started a run of games where he and we were excellent and propelled us from midtable to European contention. For those who cannot recall I'd urge you to re-watch it:
    https://www.skysports.com/watch/vid...guel-almirons-stunning-volley-from-all-angles

    Assist of the season:

Has to be Isak vs Everton of course.

    Game of the Season:

6-1 Tottenham. Though in fairness only really the first 21 minutes, both teams stopped playing at that point. It came at a busy part of the season and we seemed to conserve energy after the match was won.

    Moment of the Season:

Wilson scoring the penalty against Leeds.

They'd just missed the chance to go 2-0 up and I feel like if we'd lost then the pressure would have really cranked up on us. That they missed and we immediately equalised was massive.

    Manager rating out of 10:

    10. Yes there have been some areas for improvement and people will use that to argue he cannot have a 10 but in all honesty I'd have given him an 8 for top 8 and a 9 for top 6. We got top 4 (we were 3rd for a length on time on the last day) and a cup final. That is outstanding work, utterly remarkable.

    Season rating out of 10:

    10. See above. We over-achieved massively, top 4 AND a cup final. All we wanted was a team that tried remember.

ps. Just read back through the thread to see that quite a few went for that Almiron goal, I wrongly assumed people would have gone for something more recent. Good choice peeps

    Player of the Season: Trippier

Most Improved Player of the Season: Almiron

Most Disappointing Player: ASM - Thought he'd do much better under Howe, but unfortunately not.

Signing of the Season: I'd go for Popey. 10m and been one of the best keepers in the league. Closely followed by Isak.

Goal of the Season: ASM vs Wolves.

Assist of the season: Willock vs Spurs

Game of the Season: City at home

Moment of the Season: Trippier freekick vs City - The moment I knew we were going to do great things this season.

Manager rating out of 10: 10. Barely did anything wrong.

Season rating out of 10: 10.

Goal of the Season: Miggy (v Fulham).

Assist of the season: Isak (v Everton).

Moment of the Season: Jacob Murphys antics, take your pick.

Manager rating out of 10: 10 - couldn't have asked for more.

Season rating out of 10: 9 - Would be 10 but the Cup final loss still hurts.

Player of the Season: Big Joe - Relentless.

Most Improved Player of the Season: Longstaff

Most Disappointing Player: Saint-Maximin / Targett - Both varying reasons, but neither able to establish themselves.

    Signing of the Season: Pope

Goal of the Season: Miggy vs Fulham

Assist of the season: Isak v Everton away / Willock vs Spuds - in different ways, both so good.

Game of the Season: Newcastle 2 - 0 Manc Reds - Just a great day with the lads, but also a great result - putting us firmly where we deserved to be.

Moment of the season: Christ - been so many... Kieran Trippier over the wall vs Man City. Fantastic game and a wild moment.

Manager rating out of 10: 9 - hard to fault, but took a little too long to change things up during our spell of struggling to find the net IMO.

Season rating out of 10: 10 - Exceeded all expectation.

Player of the season: Trippier & Joelinton are tied for me. Both have been tremendous for the majority of our season. Very consistent. Pope would be a contender too.

Most improved: Longstaff. Understated and underappreciated, but became so important, as seen when he got injured. Would be a very very good player if he could work on and improve his finishing.

Best signing: Botman. Has settled in and got up to speed with the Premier League so well and should get even better. Also, was a signing in an area which really needed strengthening.

Best goal: Almiron Vs Fulham, but I also loved Isak's chest down and lob Vs west ham, just for how cool and calm it was.

Best assist: Isak Vs Everton, closely followed by Willock Vs Spurs

    Best game: Whipping Spurs.

Best moment: Loads, but final whistle Vs Leicester and Champions League being confirmed was huge.

Manager rating: 9 - amazing performance.

Season rating: 10 - so much better than expected. The speed of the turnaround is unbelievable.
