Had a senior moment recently, and poured one of those Nescafe three in one coffee sachets in my Oats so Simple bowl instead of my coffee cup. Wasn't gonna waste it so microwaved for the two minutes, not bad tasting actually, not bad at all. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Oats so simple is a cracking marketing example where they make the simple act and cheap cost of pouring normal oats into a bowl, more complicated and expensive, and people actually buy it.
Spot on. So many good foods are cheap, so long as you don't fall for marketing, processed food traps. Oats, rice, potatoes, pasta, beans, peas are all great examples. Oats. Take 1 average sized cup. Half fill with oats. Empty into bowl. Fill same cup to top with water or plant milk (or cow juice if u must - yuck). Empty into bowl. Stir briefly. Microwave for 90 secs. Stir. Microwave 60 secs. Stir. Eat. Breakfast for pence. No expensive sachets and extra packaging needed.
TwoWrights has went for the double!! He isn't capable of dipping a teaspoon into his coffee, then his sugar and topping it all off with a walk to the fridge for his milk... (sitting aside his cans of Jack Daniel & Coke)...
Walk to the fridge, don't be daft. The fridge is within arm distance of the microwave, and the oats are in the cupboard above the fridge. That said, I often bin the sachet before measuring the milk in it! Oh, and I wouldn't put coke in any spirit. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
