He'll remain nameless, apart from him running towards Sunderland fans by himself on the BP pitch, but we had a weekend away to Plymouth in a transit van and kipped in Torquay on the Saturday night. 'He' had a Humber Growers plaggy bag as his sleeping bag, sleeping in a nightclub doorway, FACT. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Can I recommend this for No 3? https://www.ukgolfacademy.com/produ...qSd4gOEHF7Daqkz_7Ghp7X9LHHzTHEIAaAmEGEALw_wcB
Rumour has it some on here would recommend Henri Paul to Ben, I couldn't possibly comment. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Make it four. Some of we royals & deities will need a spot to rattle our jewels and wax eloquently above the hoi polloi.
I just watched the behind the Tigers game, and Twine really did get into some great positions and on another say could have had a couple of goals. The fact that he is drifting into those areas bode' well for the future once he is up to speed.
The thing that worries me is, it always seems to be like that. Feels like every week we don't get the goals we should for the opportunities we create. And I do wonder how long that can be put down to luck. For a long time I've believed it's because of a lack of quality players in attack. But we definitely don't have a lack of quality now, so it's really time we start finishing things off more consistently and going 1, 2 or 3 goals up when we have these spells of dominance. I realise you're talking about Twine and I'm piggybacking on it to talk more generally about the team, but your post just made me think of something that's been on my mind. Listening to some PL coverage recently, Chelsea seem to be the same. All the stats show they should score loads, create loads of chances and so on, but week in week out they fail to score the goals they should. There must be a reason that teams have this problem over a long period.
Twine's positions were not dissimilar to 2 of Tufan goals against Massive, but on the occasions of Coventry they blocked them, plus the lovely ball from Christie which Twine pointed to where he wanted it and the keeper saved. We are certainly converting and creating more chances than last season, and as yet Twine, who hasn't has a lot of football for a while, is yet to find his form. On social media there were quite a lot of negative comments on Twine's performance, but as often is the case they don't look carefully enough at the real picture.
Twine was man of the match in the FotMob app, based on his stats. Unfortunately those in the ground were influenced by his two poor free kicks - that’ll soon turn around though.
No I was influenced in what I saw at the game in the flesh, the fact the place has him as MOTM tells you all you need to know about it's credibility
From what I've seen so far he just needs a goal and a bit of the confidence that comes with scoring. Don't think he's done much wrong but when you come with a reputation for set pieces you need to make one count sooner rather than later
Well that’s my view too, his effort was unquestionable but he was nowhere near the MoTM. There is definitely a talent there though, as John says he just needs a goal or an assist.
If Twine and Philogene both come good, they'll be a nightmare to play again. They're currently both a gamble, that'll we'll soon see whether pays off or not,
