The 14.15 at Ayr looks an interesting race, albeit looking to be a match between Beautiful Diamond and Purosangue; Beautiful Diamond has been beaten twice by Relief Rally but managed to creep half a length closer to that one lto despite running green towards the finish. So it would appear she is going the right way. Purosangue was only beaten a nk by Big Evs on soft ground in the G3 Molecomb Stakes despite giving him a few lengths start Didn't run so well lto on a faster surface. The more rain there is, the bigger chance he would appear to have. I say appear because although Beautiful Diamond hasn't encountered anything softer than good, it doesn't necessarily follow that she won't be suited by it. Purosangue won his debut race in impressive style on GF before running his best race on soft. Based purely on what's known I would have marginal preference for Purosangue, but wouldn't want to risk much on him

3.35 Newbury-Palace Green Each Way @ 28-1 [Bet 365] Rank outsider and first race, but cost a few guineas so might be worth chancing
I really don't understand what has happened with this filly. She showed such promise in the G2 Lowther last year that I had her down as a lively outsider for the 1000 Gns at 50/1 (given her pedigree) but she seems to have gone downhill since. If I were a betting person, that run today would have cost me dearly
