Very true, they weren’t playing badly until he hoyed them 3 subs on which I thought lost any fluency they had and resulted in us controlling the game till the end…happy days

Must admit Ken Knighton takes some beating, wrote to him and asked if me and two exiles could see the players and he said yes and we stopped with them through the whole match, dressing room at half time and eating with them afterwards. You would never see that these days, Joe’s legs were bloody huge<laugh>

The way things are these days seem like things that happen at other clubs that we read about. The way they watch each other's backs and play to each other's strengths it's amazing to watch

I have been watching the lads a long time. I dont think I have ever seen a team who are so committed to each other. I watched them celebrate with Rigg when he scored and thought wow, this all means something to them. Pritch last night, the way he hugged Neil and just generally looked after everyone when he might have been put out at not starting games. You see them telling each other when things need to be better, but always in a positive way, never aggressive or whiny. When Ballard celebrates as much when clearing as Clarke does when scoring you know this team are all at it. Brilliant to a man.

Love this team of ours atm, there’s so much fluidity, so much fight, so much confidence and a **** load of skill.
Would Amad get in the team if we went back for him in January?

Amad would for me yes. Very special talent. I can see it happening too in Jan. Imagine if we are there or thereabouts and in walks Amad. What a lift.

The performance v Southampton, after all the hoohaw of deadline day showed how together we are. And we shouldn't read too much into agents b.s.

Evening gentlemen.I hope all is well. It's seems there's been some confusion or mixed signals and i'm partially to blame.I said about how good Dan Neil has been, instrumental you could say, Prehab26' response was basically a throw away comment of "to think we nearly sold him in the summer", same way if you had a cracking sort after vintage car, get offered 10 grand for it, decide to keep it then it wins you a competition at some point down the line, a person would say "and to think I nearly flogged it".As I said above, I hope all is well. OK, just watched the first 30 minutes and it was nowhere near as bad as it seemed last night. It was all mad scrambles, long balls over the top and crosses slung in ...

... no great play and one on one's with the keeper.

Blackburn had one shot saved by Patterson ... their keep said four.

Sunderland also had some very good opportunities which have been totally overlooked.

As for the penalty, I don't think it was ...

... but I didn't hear a squeak from Blackburn, last season, when Clarke was denied a blatant penalty from which they scored.

F**k them and their tedious bleating.

Mowbray said similar. Said he was pissed off at Clarke the first half hour as he did no tracking back (that was my take on it anyhow). Huggins was exposed due to this imo but then it started to work

Look forward to this lads review of games.
interesting spot of Dan Neil starting to take responsibility and organise things.
Only criticism I've had of him in the past has been he tends to stand off a bit but thats changing quickly
Turning into a real player this lad

I’m too young to remember stoke (born in 75). But I’m with you on the favourite! Reid years were class at first, but this is my favourite period as a fan so far.

There’s been plenty on here and social media who’ve said he’s not good enough and that people only like his cos he’s a SAFC lad. Ridiculous comments really.
