Blimey dont let Nicola know that he may cancel the idea...thinking about it, it is a concession because the way we are playing and the way the momentum is building they'd probably sell most of the tickets for each game anyway
I fear he may be currently employed as a financial expert at PFC. His next advice is to invest in Chocolate Teapots (made in Greece) while of course looking for that 125 million pounds one of PFC owners seem to have "lost".
It's why they are not being called half-season season tickets. As buyers will not be treated as ST holders, they wont get first dibs on away tickets or cup tickets and nor will they get first dibs - at potentially early bird prices - on ST tickets for 2012/13. Likewise, the saving per-match they will benefit from will not be as much as for ST holders. For example, my adult ST ticket cost me £380 in the Chapel. At 23 matches that's roughly £16.50 per match - where as 10 matches at £225 is obviously £22.50. (Looking at individual prices for the Chapel, it's £23 per ticket in advance and £25 on the day). But yeah, good idea. Hopefully many take up the chance to get them, and we consistenly get 26,000 or 27,000+ each week.
No accountancy is not my trade.....and I have no affiliation to Pompey either. I have managed my books well enough over the years so have nothing to complain about. I don't have a tax man breathing down my neck nor the fraud office after me, nor do I have any money under the bed. I am not into chocolate teapots and neither do I have the £125 million that Pompey have lost. Maybe Channon has that cause I don't.
I've got millions to invest in Saints - Michael Wilde Never believe anything said by someone called Wilde - CBK
Ha I'm sure he's pleased to be reminded. That was a tumultuous time, and it was very hard to know which deal would be the best.
Oh and guys.....just so you understand Channon and I do know there is something wrong with the calculations.......that is the point.....just a bit of fun...........
I know it's a VERY long time since you were at school but half of 23 is 11.5 not 12.5. Anyway, what's the problem with a half season ticket? They could always let you in at half time in the Palace game
) That is quite correct Devo, just the same as 12 games is not a tad under 48% of 23 games (it is 52.173%) If you add the two calculations 12+ 13 + 25games. It was just a bit of fun between me and Channon him taking the michael as usual and me playing up to him.......Some people are really gullible and believe everything........
Yeeeessss! This is perfect for me! I have been paying on a game by game basis due to other commitments up until now I just hope there will be enough room in the Northam for me. P.s. Good maths guys. Keep it up.
