Is it a good time to play a pretty demorilised bunch I wonder? We could win by one or lose by 3 and it probably will not shock many.

I was standing in the Asda car park today after the game, and it makes for an amazing sight with all the businesses that are now in full flow. Food places, a quality food pub, Mac`s and Kent...loads of people bobbing about hours after the game.
My mind goes back to Ninian Park, when the game finished it was like a ghost town soon after.....what a difference!<cool>

Mind you it was dire during the game then......mostly that is!

...or a bad time to play Cardiff City?...

This could be what their season is already hinging on (a la Brum last year) so will want to go for it. It wont be easy but their coming down here at the wrong time (for them). Malky has got us flying at the moment and in a one off game league status means nothing.

Can we beat them...f'kin hell yeah we can :)

I know that really good sides don't rely on luck, but Blackburn have suffered some dire luck this season. To my mind, the old cliche about them being better than their position suggests, is actually acurate. I think that it is a bad time to play as they will be like wounded animals. This cup competition could be their redemption for the season. That said, momentum is a wonderful thing, and we seem to have plenty of that at the moment. Whatever happens, I wouldn't like to see this adventure compromise our promotion hopes, either by a morale shattering loss,or injuries. Of course the other side of that coin is a self affirming victory and a money spinning semi. I guess it'll all depend on the attitudes oif the respective managers, and I think the game is of more mportance to Steve Kean than it is to MM.

Could be Steve Keans last game in charge if they lost to us. How much can they put up with! I think we will come out on top in a pretty tight game. We can't rest anyone however which is a bit of a worry but I think we need to go for it.

IMO yes, if we lose to a premiership club, fair enough we've had a nice little cup run, if we win, well a boost to the confidence................what we don't need is a right tonking from one of the PL power houses.

I can't see Blackburn stuffing us, and we could well beat them..........so all in all yes <ok>

I hope MM goes for it. Full strength team and stick with the current game plan.

We're in a no lose situation, so the pressure is off us. If we lose we focus on the league and look forward to starting another run in the FA cup. If we win its a big fillup and we grow in confidence for Brum on the weekend.

For Blackburn, the pressure is on. Some of the 'luck' goes against you when you are down because of the pressure, snatching at chances, diving into tackles. Sometimes you can try too hard.

Whichever way it goes, it's been an unexpected bonus for us. Happy days.
