http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spor...ill-go-if-it-helps-sunderland-72703-29853599/ According to The Chronicle: STEVE BRUCE admits he would consider his future at Sunderland if he thought it would help the club. The Black Cats boss was the target of a barrage of abuse from the stands after Sunderland lost 2-1 to struggling Wigan at the Stadium of Light. He insisted afterwards he has no intention of quitting, but then appeared to suggest he might reconsider if he felt it would be in the club's long-term interests. Bruce said: âI will never, ever walk away from abuse. âNever. It is not in my nature. âI am not the type to just accept defeat or walk away â I cannot stomach defeat, to be fair. âIt is in my nature to go home, keep my dignity, get back to work on Monday and try to turn things around. âHowever, if I thought me going would help everybody, then I would consider it â but I don't think that at the moment. I just want to try and get it right.â Read More http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spor...elps-sunderland-72703-29853599/#ixzz1f0Rh3D3m You've had 11 months to try to sort out the inability to win mess that we're in and you still want to try to get it right now - how long will it take?? Another year?!!
Or this one: http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/footba...derland-boss-if-fans-abuse-affects-my-players Well Steve - it affected "your" players on Saturday so please get your coat and make sure the door doesn't hit your arse on the way out
Best wishes, go and have some fun in the sun, Bring your stress levels down, re-cuperate and come back fighting fit for your next job.
It's certainly in the best interests of the club and the supporters if you go now;a round trip from the south coast for a birthday treat on Saturday completely ruined because of your ineptitude. In my 55 years suppoerting this great club this is the first time that I have lost all appetite for what goes on at the SOL-the piss poor relegation years were better than what you are serving up.
Your the second person to say that it's worse than the piss poor relegation years. Do you not think your overreacting? There's no way SAFC will be involved in the relegation battle, so do you honestly think it's worse than when you got relegated with a record low points total?
