We've slipped down to 7th again today. With a bunch of potholes ahead of us (i.e. "small" clubs - the ones we mainly lose points to), it's crucial we take 3 pts from Fulham on Monday & go back above Arsenal. Didn't see the Newcastle-Chelsea game but is 0-3 indicative of the end of the honeymoon for Pardew? Hiya Gerrez, Haven't been here long myself. Just about this board - I think we could skip the biogs in the left column, save a lot of white space & free up my right hand! I can only ever see 2 one-line posts on a full page. I notice all of Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal & Spurs are on 3-0 for today's games as I write. Shows the gulf between the 2 leagues-within-a-league. ...and sets the bar high for us.
I remember why I've been rare on here: This forum is a real, real pain to navigate around. There must be a match-day thread, but I couldn't find one. Surely this should be the top home-page link by default on a match day? Also, I can't find threads I've already posted on. The front page is one massive menu, when most of those links could be in drop-down menus. The 3 top menus are confusing enough already. There seems to be a whole lot of junk on the "Profile" page (What's the point of "Points", "Albums", "Awards", "Achievements", etc.?), yet the FAQ page is "Not found"! And that very dubious identity-harvesting thread on the PL board, "Sexy Poll", obviously threatens members' privacy. I'm sure there's a better place to post this, but I can't find that either.
Isn't the match day thread like one of the most recent threads atm, at the top of the page? It's just about what you know tbh - compared to old 606 this is vastly different but to other forums it's near on identical.
Exactly - the setup of this forum wasn't designed by Mick. There are loads with the exact same layout - I use a reggae forum that is identical to this in every way..... other than it's not about football!!
If you go onto the Liverpool section of Not606 and look down the threads until you find 'The Official Not606 Match Thread: Fulham Vs Liverpool' you will have the match thread for Monday's game. And regarding your point about having the match day thread at the top of the page, i'll message one of the mods and see if we could get it sticked so it stays up at the top of the page. However, when Monday comes around, the match-day thread is posted on a lot so it stays near the top of the page. There is a lot in the profile page but you get used to it after a while. Regarding the 'Points' I don't know what they are for either. And you've have posted this in the right place!
It's like most forums layout, because it's different to the old 606 it takes a bit of getting used to. Points/achievements etc are pointless, just ignore those. You can see what threads you have posted on by the white arrow in the green circle to the left of the thread title. Hover over this and it will tell you how many times you have posted in the thread and the last time you posted also. If there are any new posts on a thread that you are yet to read a little icon with two arrows pointing down will appear just to the left of the thread title also, this will save you from having to trawl through the pages to come to the first unread post.

haha, I feel like it at the moment! I am on WC so I do like the challenge, but beating Sunderland, Bolton was no problem but I got thumped by Arsenal and Spuds! Just couldn't stay with them! Gotta get used to it, so used to the old defense system. Ah well, will make the game interesting! By the way, my name to a T is a hidden gem in the game, I will let you figure it out, it is not me but found him and he is meant to be a wonderkid.......
Since being Access Denied for this site in work I've looked for a new one for work only, and there is some rubbish out there. Sports Witness is the worst by far closely followed by that JA thing. The best alternative is on the club site but too much is ignored as there are too many posts. I really appreciate this forum since looking around as there is a personal feel to it, if someone posts a thread we will all discuss the topic without so many replies that opinion become irrelevant.
Ya I joined the one on the website but it is, as you say, just too big, this is a good size. I have not really checked out the other two, came here around Feb and been here since....
