Honestly I think this mind games nonsense gets blown out of all proportion.

I dont think it has any effect whatsoever in terms of on the pitch what another club member says about such things. I mean if I was a chelsea player and read that I would more than likely not give it a moments thought. Of course other clubs are going to try and get a bit of one up manship on their opponents, but me personally, I would think about it logically because at the end of the day it doesnt really matter what anyone else says about you or your club. For those weak minded players or individuals that it does have an effect on I would suggest they not buy a newspaper and switch their telly onto uktv gold and avoid the press.

That goes for any club, I cannot see any logival reason why people would let such things effect them.

I think his comments are sensible <ok>

Who was the last team to lose 7 games and win the league?

I think it's a normal answers to an obvious question:

Reporter: "Do you think Chelsea can still win the league?"
    SAF: "No."

Hardly groundbreaking after Ancelotti and Lampard have basically admitted the same thing.

A lot of his comments were also responding to Terry's claims that Utd might falter and are under pressure, which are pretty rich given that Lampard has admitted Chelsea are under pressure to remain in the top 4 this season.

Yeah, Kevin Keegan always looks like this <laugh>

There's no logical reason why things would affect people, but football isn't always a logical game. If you can get even a little bit inside the head of players at this stage, then you can make a huge difference to a tight title race.

Keegan in general is a weak minded person. He has the basic bottlejob personality when things get difficult.

Yes but most football players aren't that sensible or smart and Sir Alex clearly annoyed Rafa Benitez as well as Kevin Keegan.
