    Form

    Charlton last six home W - 5 D - 1 L - 0 For 17 Against 4
    Oldham last six away W - 1 D - 3 L - 2 For 9 Against 10

    Betting (@ Corals)

    Charlton 4/7 (41% of bets)
    Oldham 5/1 (47% of bets)
    Draw 11/4 (12% of bets)

My bet is Charlton 2-0 (7/1) with Kermi scoring first goal (5/1) £10 will return £480

    <cheers>

In recent times they have been a bit of a bogey team for us at home... But with the players at our disposal and with the success we've had so far this season then I think I'd back a 2-0 or 3-1.

We know dickov sets his teams up to not give the opposition time on the ball, liking to go man for man rather than zonal. This typically falls in to our hands as we can knock the ball around at pace, finding lots of space in the process.

We too can't afford to drop any points with the two Sheffield's coming up.

IMO, if we take care of Kuqi, the result will take care of itself.

The tussle between Kuqi and Morrison/Taylor should be the clash of the season so far.

    2-0 to us.

4-0 - BWP x 2, Hollands and Green. Got to be worth a tenner?

Morro should have kuqi in his pocket.

Don't get me wrong, he's a handful, but I'd be disappointed if they could contain BWP and Kermo, and we couldn't handle shefki.

Can't help feeling nervous about this one, for Oldham read Tranmere.

1-1, a scrappy late goal from Taylor rescuing a point for us.

Kuqi is a piece of pee for Morro. No problem whatsoever.

I agree, Stu. Morro is a bit of a monster.. don't fancy many striker against him.

I want Pritchard to start this one. He deserves to. I especially like his enthusiasm and energy in midfield, which I think is needed.

    Russell.

Sorry folks, not impressed with him at all.

Anyhow, isn't this academic - comments on another thread indicate that Pritchard's crocked - I've asked for details.

Fair play tewkes- I wasn't at Walsall so can't comment.. But I saw CP and one of the rags give him a good review.

I haven't heard about an injury to Bradley- be a crying shame if he's got injured again!

In this league you just can't say "it's only .........." do that and we will drop points, start dropping points and it can easily turn into a run of bad results look at Preston, they were second in the League when they beat us at the Valley in the Fizzy Pop and look at Warsaw last week!

Play our strongest team unless we have injuries.

Totally correct. Good as we are, there is not a single team in this division who we are guaranteed to beat, and draws won't get us promoted, look at Huddersfield.

Once players start getting tired, CP might start making changes but even then only to put in the next best players available (not "give a youngster a go because it's Christmas"). Funny thing is, when teams are on a winning streak the players don't seem to get tired. Football history proves that. And the funnier thing is, they don't seem to pick up as many injuries either, which is a bit harder to explain, although several theories come to mind.

Probably only me on here today - no surprises in the lineup or on the bench and hopefully, there'll be none on the park either.

    Still going for 2-0.
