Happy Christmas to all from a hospital bed somewhere in Cambridgeshire..... Some good stats .... not all in our favour though !! http://www.mfc.co.uk/page/matches/previews/0,,1~58341,00.html
A very impressive display of stats there. So much so that I'm slightly disappointed they didn't mention Marlon King scoring the winner in the 2-1 win and then preceding to drive down to London to break a woman's nose!
I know you said facts as well, but for some reason I just read "good figures on the M'boro site" so I was expecting something a bit more like this: please log in to view this image EDIT: Have you tried finding decent pictures of women with M'boro shirts on Google?
No he's about 20 miles away Chazz .... I bet he doesn't have to wait half an hour for someone to come and help him off the BOG !!!!!
Sorry mate couldnt resist. Hope you get better soon. you in Addenbrookes? I used to work in Huntingdon and all over Cambridgeshire really. Wisbech is a hell of a place isnt it!!
Hinchingbrooke mate, My Old hip replacement snapped last Tuesday waiting for a new , new one if that's the correct way to say it ,... can't say i've been to Wisbech much only with my sons footy, more St Ives Huntingdon etc. <Cheers>
Christ I hope you ain't on Apple Tree ward! My daughter works there! When they letting you out? Good luck with the hip!
Ye St Ives is nice. Always thought Hunts was a bit weird with that ring road surrounding the town centre, seemed to cut it off. You live in Hunts or one of the villages around it? That sounds bloody painful too. Hope the family are bringing in Xmas dinner for you, hospital food not good.
Huntingdon's always been an odd place, ****ty to shop in unless you want a phone or greetings card. That said, it's had a lot of development and Sainsburys moving to the outside of the ring road, and theres some quite amazing plans for the centre. Amazing because really, Hunts is mostly full of either retired tories or chavs. St Ives is pretty though, many a happy night on pub crawls there.
Fen Drayton is the village .... just a sleepy little village and yes Huntingdon is a bit weird very square and concrete boxy St Ives has a very good Kebab shop I use every Thursday night Just for the record bloody Cambridge is horrible and very overrated , take away the University buildings and it is a bit of a dump really mind you the old Abbey stadium has got a good old fasioned foot bally atmosphere to it .... My Op is on Tuesday AM .... so hope for another minimum one point at the borough on Monday ....
Wasn't the GREAT !!!! John Major the MP for Huntingdon ... The great bit was tongue in cheek before you ask.
Yup he was, and he and his missus still live in Alconbury I believe too. This is an odd area, hardly any work beyond building or farming, the Oxmoor and other estates full of chavs, but a pot plant could stand as local tory MP or counciller and get elected, just cos they're tory.
Ye there was a cop car permanently stationed outside cos of a terror threat, another waste of money. Bloody hell Fen Drayton i used to stay at Fen Stanton or Swavesey Travelodge all the time. You may have seen me walking or jogging about your village like a Billy no mates.
How on earth do you manage with a broken hip replacement, They said my knee replace ment with need doing again in 15 years I've had it four years now so they think I'll live until I'm 91.(I'll take that.) Anyway good luck to you and take care.
Cheers Charles ...I was carrying the bloody shopping in and snap ....22 years not bad for the first one though I guess it didn't owe me anything ..... It' surfed coaster-ed footy (5 a side) and the gym I've gone bloody mad in my 40's & 50's so Hope I'm forgiven for missing the game tomorrow
More than likley Chaz did you ever stop of for a pint in the 3 tuns ... that is how it's spelt Our lass used to work in the Fenstanton Travelodge for a while she used to tell me about some goings on there with young ladies and shall we say elderly gentlemen just staying for an hour or two ..... I do hope you weren't one of those mate
Hi Cambridge Tiger -- get well soon! I beg to differ on Cambridge. There are some cracking pubs off Mill road and in Romsey Town, etc. We played cricket up at Fen Drayton a couple of seasons ago. Absolutely stuffed them.
Ha ha no not me. Ye i did actually go in a few times, think Tuesday was quiz night-bit tough in a team of one though!! You Mad hog and now Oregon all in Cambridgeshire, any more?
