    Pompey fans in peace, I swear.

    Question for my stripey friends;

    What was the method in obtaining tickets for our recently passed derby match as obviouslyI want to get to the return fixture at yours? The most I know is that a lot of it will be down to the amount of away games that a person has attended. By the time we play I will have 5 possibly 6 if I have the money to get to Coventry.

    I only ask as I would assume it would be the same or a similar method when our ticket go on sale some time in March.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    You friend (in an Arnie voice), The Hermanator.

    Ballot system for STH's. Although St Marys is significantly bigger than Fratton Park so will get more tickets.

    Four away games was the magic number. As far as I know everyone who had been to four and applied got their tickets, and the few remaining were then dished out in a second ballot (might be wrong). We had played 10 away games before going to you so I reckon you should be ok with 5/6 as we have more seats to give away.

    Cheers peeps, sounds fairly simple. If we do utilise the same system it will atleast be easier for me to apply. Not having to get up in the wee hours and cueing up or missing a bit of college (although I did have a good lie made up already). Whats the max allocation you offer? 3200 isn't it?

    Pompey may of course operate a completely different system.

    Pompey are getting 3,000 tickets. The segregation is going to be larger than usual. I will be surprised if they sell them all

    We will sell them don't you worry. The last time we came to yours the tickets went in less than 2 hours.

    I don't know why JPFCW seems to be garunteed a ticket when he is just another fan, no bigger than me. Everytime a travel away I hope that the seats around me fill up so I know he isn't stationed by me. He ruins the atmosphere with his bell and bugle, and insists that smacking a drum for 90 mins is a good atmosphere. All of our best atmospheres have been without the drum (Millwall away last season). Everytime a new song starts to get going he drums over it, hence why on some of the other forums you may see a few anti drums anti JW threads.

    See you on the 7th of April.

    I would have thought JW was banned after his behaviour last time, but apparently not.
