Was I the only one watching the live stream, and got really nervous when Wigan got back to 2-1? Should have remembered that though I was watching the same players it's a totally different team. FFS, the Citeh game was something special, but for me this was the game that really announced MoN's arrival. When they scored, the heads didn't drop, if anything they stood a little taller more determined to not let the manager down again. For the last 4 weeks, a little feeling has been spreading throughout me, a feeling that had been crushed for the last year or so, PRIDE. FTM
Aye VS my sphincter got a little twitchy at 2-1 even though that's what I thought the score would be. Still smiling now though and yes you're right brimming with pride.
Was watching it on Norwegian PL tv. A little worried first half wasn't sure if we could defend like we did against city again. Seemed to be pretty much one way traffic with a few good breaks from us. The annoying thing, the commentary was in English, the second commentator, must have been a wigan supporter or something, always "Wigan should have free kick, the Sunderland player should be booked" and when they gave away a free kick it was "couldn't see owt wrong with that tackle". He even said that we shouldn't have got three points off city 'cos the goal was offside. What a pratt. Great second half, even the pratt stopped slagging us off. Two great results in two days, two nights couldn't sleep, so excited. Well done lads, well done Martin O'Neil
