Ah but Ruff, as I'm sure BBF will clarify soon enough, the context was completely different. Liverpool were obviously dominant and were cruelly denied by their desperately unlucky finishing and utterly incompetent goalkeeper, whereas Utd are about as **** as it's possible to be whilst still being in contention for the title...
I have to say that I only heard your result this morning on North West news. I did speak to a united fan on the way into work wou said that Newcastle deserved the win. I don't know whether you were thrashed or not. In terms of our result, being absolutely honest (shock-horror) we were not "thrashed" by any definition of the word. Even 'PaulPowersLeftBoot' said as much. 3 - 0 may look like a good thumping, but in this particular instance, it was far from that, but citeh were good for the points, so it doesn't really matter in the scheme of things.
the thing with your game you had so much possesion but didnt create many chances with it,everyone going on about that Downing chance but Hart saved well,in our game we can talk about the berbatov chance that deflected on to the post but if it wasnt deflected krul would have made the save,Newcastle could have had a penalty before they scored anyway, its just the ifs and maybes of football
I've no idea who manure is, you ****ing juvenile cretin. I just assumed you were describing yourselves as ****.
The stats were quite surprising really, not just percentage possession (most of which was up to the final third), but we did have a surprising number of shots off and on target. I think it equalled city. Anyway, that's gone, so on we all move. Swarbs is threatening to come and watch your FA derby at my local so he can claim his pint
time for sir alex to step down now, id hate to see him finish his remarkable career on a damp squib....a great if not the greatest manager who ever lived but its time now....time for him to step upstairs and let a new era begin....perhaps at the end of the season but he has to retire....
Strongly disagree that Fergie should step down at the end of the season. He has even said him self he will leave after 3 more years.
i know that alan but he is losing the plot sometimes with his team selections and that could be put down to his age, the older you get the less your mind makes the right choices, He is one remarkable man and have met him well shook his hand really and to me he will never be surpassed by anybody as the greatest manager that has ever lived anywhere in the world. but lets be honest here he is getting to old and he should retire on top of his time as i would not like to see him carrying on and getting bad results that is happening even now and end his career on a low. this should be his last season if he knows its time......fantastic manager and a mentor to many others......
What a pathetic statement to make! Yes I want SAF to retire on top but to suggest he is suffering from some form of dementia because he has been forced to chop and change since he has up to 12 first team players out injured is ridiculous.
read my post properly crepe, there is no mention of dementia Its a proven fact that the older you get the less your mind is on top form nothing to do with sir alex going doolally, thats stupid. Its time for him to start thinking who is going to be his successor.....
