Odd decision - love him or hate him, his record is good. He'll be back in work quickly - Steve Kean watch out.
There was talk of this happening immediately after they secured promotion. Very strange, but I don't know the ins and outs.
I didn't see that one coming. And, for once, I don't think he did either. Hell, the Chairman hasn't even given him a vote of confidence yet! The man they have set their sights on is obviously Parky.
Warnock wasn't helped by the other promoted teams doing better than QPR, still it's a harsh decision. I'm sure Colin will get another job soon though
My QPR fans have moaned about him the past 2 months. It's not just results, it's that performances in the early part of the season were good.. But now they look dreadful. They blame the manager for that, as they believe the team showed they are good enough. Bet he done it by text- I wouldn't want to tell warnock he's sacked.
Mark Hughes is first choice apparently. Would be ideal for curbs, but in one of his last interviews he almost sounded defeated in his quest to get a premiership job. Oliver holt also told the story if curbs telling o'neil to take the Sunderland job as you can quickly be forgotten if you take too long between jobs.
Taking an employer to an industrial tribunal is very bad for your job prospects. Not only in football.
Hughes is the obvious choice, but hardly a long term appointment, the way he ditched Fulham when he thought he could get something better!
"The man they have set their sights on is obviously Parky". Wrong Eddie, Parky is earmarked as Wengers replacement...........
